Nothing like the photos, seems quite rundown and dingy. Staff are very nice though.

Top drawer... will keep coming back whenever I'm in Bangkok. Great location away from the hell of Kao San Rd!

Jing!!!!!!!!!! She works at the hostel and is super awesome. Definitely party with her, she's a MACHINE. WE Bangkok is totally rad. Really chill place to stay in Bangkok and meet new people. The location is great. In a quiet area but really close to all the places you'll want to go (Khao San, Siam Square, etc). Splitting is the best way to get around here. There's a really good and cheap food place right beside the hostel and also a 7-eleven. Definitely would and will stay again ;)

Stayed here twice. The impression I got is that the place attracts a different kind of backpacker crowd, and not the regular Khao San-bunch. This for me is a huge plus. Staff members are great. Overall, it is a really good hostel.

At first , I booked 3 nights in this hostel but after 2 nights I left ... You don't have water for hours so it is a bit complicated to have shower ! When you get the hostel . Some of the staff not so friendly as well... It is not well based in Bangkok , and you need to take taxi to go out and reach all places at night ( clubs , bars and so on ). Next time I won't stay here . I used to stay Kao san or Sukumvit area , much better ...

nice place, easy to meet travelers. One annoyance is that they charge a lot for drinks but don't allow you to bring in outside beers. I would maybe understand this if they kept the rooftop bar open; it wasn't, you had to travel up and down six flights of stairs every time you wanted something and you had to pay way too much money for it. Also I heard that someone fell off the roof the year prior, so don't get too drunk on the rooftop!!

In a quiet area of town, a good place to get out of the general insanity that can be the rest of bangkok. That said, well located near a train stop making it easy to get just about anywhere you want on Bangkok's great public transport. The staff here is super friendly and the hostel immaculately cleaned

Hostel was clean and security was great. Lockers available with your own padlock.. Common areas available on 2 levels with a roof top bar. Roof top bar not always open so ask at reception. Not always hot showers. Great place to meet people. Wifi brilliant, if you get a room on the 3rd floor you will be connected still if not use the common areas. Sky train round the corner with access to main areas about 20 minute taxi ride away. Would stay here again.

I always stay in hotels because I like my space but I'm on a much tighter budget than normal this time around. That said, this place was great. Staff was helpful, seemed to enjoy their job and spoke English well, there's a rooftop bar/terrace (the bar itself was never open but they do keep the door open so you can take drinks up there, chill in the sun, etc...), good price on beer and food, clean, secure and quiet. It being a ways off the beaten path was the only downside for me.

Great hostel, particularly if you want to stay in a quieter, clean and secure place - it's still a short taxi away from the main attractions of Bangkok. There common areas area pretty cool and chill, and the staff is particularly helpful and very kind, specially Jing!
