Really nice and helpful staff. And cool with different activities organized by the hostel, ie dumpling making Monday (for free). Nice yard when the weather is good. And good common area with reading room, tv room, bar...

The staff is very helpful, outgoing, and cheerful and they all speak near fluent english. The hostel has a nice setup for meeting other travelers at the hostel with a large common area/bar that has several couches and chairs plus a pool table.

Wada is amazing! It was so cold outside when we got there and we received the warmest welcome! The bar and lounge area was fantastic with open fires and great food and this keeps the communal areas bustling. There is a small reading area if you want some quiet. The rooms were warm and had electric blankets on the beds. The best part about Wada though is the staff. They are so helpful and friendly. I would judge past and future hostel hospitality on the staff here. A must-stay if in Guilin.

Easily the best youth hostel I've ever stayed in and probably will ever stay in. Fantastic place - well priced food - friendly staff who speak great English and will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The only bad thing is that I didn't stay long enough - highly recommended.

Stayed for two nights. Can't fault it. Great location, great staff and the Rice Terrace trip without a guide was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

The best hostel I've stayed since I started my travels six months ago. Especially the Wada girls make it a special experience, great help, great humour, great atmosphere. Mandy, you made my trip! ;)

The staff here are so nice and friendly - they have lots of time to help you if you need it. The food in the restaurant/bar is really tasty, especially the chips. AND there's a cute puppy, who's very very friendly - his name is lucky :) Only bad point would be the location - that being said, it is close to the train station and the staff have a good knowledge of the local bus routes if you don't want to walk.

It was a wonderful stay. Staff is amazing, and they do everything they can to help you. The facilities are clean and their food is good, they have a choice between western and chinese food. My parents (in their 50s) loved it as well. For all ages! Will come here again if I have the chance!

wada was a good place to kick back after a long day of travels........ also the common room set up was ideal for making new friends and love. I enjoyed the breakfast it started my day off well. staff could be a bit more helpful on suggested things to do and local places to eat.
