A traditional chinese style hostel located in the most beautiful seaside in Xiamen with friendly english-speaking staff. Zencuoan is a dreaming place for backpakers.The Hostel is a 4-layer building, with a garden at the first floor and a seaview terrace at the fourth floor.
The Hostel tends to be like a family, safe, clean and comfortable, each floor has a living room for public activities, and self-service kitchen, Wireless network coverage. A lot of cheap but special fevers local restaurants and shops nearby.
5 minutes walk away to the beach and the bus stop.

My first room was dirty. Hair on the floor. The bathroom although providing hot water was basic. The shower hose was over the hand basin and toilet so the whole bathroom became soaked. The toilet seat was too small for the bowl! LOL! My view was onto a tangled mass of electrical wires but lovely hills beyond that. One plus was that the hostel was set in a quaint village of meandering alleyways and some interesting shops. I booked a deluxe room but got a standard one. Not good. Wifi was unstable.
