It was a very good hostel! Even though it is a little pricey it was the most comfortable bed I had since a month of travelling. It also had a great shower. Lots of hooks and places to keep all the stuff you need to change, etc. It was a very nice hostel.

Excellent location and provides several daily and nightly activities in and around Sydney. Since it is a bigger hostel, there is somewhat of a community feel. It's the first stop on the shuttle from the airport and the staff is extremely helpful. There is a club kind of atmosphere at times-- so if you want a quieter scene just be aware that Wake Up! can get pretty rowdy-- just an observation. Would definitely recommend to others!

Aaron is one of the most helpful staff at the front desk--he's a valuable asset to the team! Also, I went on the tour across Sydney under the guidance of Jimmy/James and he was fantastic. He was very motivating, enthusiastic, and fun! I think all of us enjoyed his leadership and grabbing a beer with him at the end of our adventure. Overall, the hostel was fantastic--it's certainly a party hostel and that's the atmosphere I wanted on my vacation there. I disliked the old blonde cleaning lady.

Nice place, little expensive for what you get but nice enough - good to stay for a few nights, close to everything you need!!

Dorms were quite messy and the younger boys from other rooms would arrive at various times to chat with the girls.

Overall a really good hostel. Cheap food and drinks. One thing I didn't like about it was the fact that people got segregated into wherever they're originally from. Asians were on the top floor and Aussies were in the first floor. That's weird and in my opinion goes against Hostel ethos of meeting people from all over the world.

Massive hostel, with no real common area. kitchen had a few seats and the tv area but not good for meeting people outside of the dorm room. the kitchen was too small for the hostel size, I had to wait til 9:30 to cook as it was so busy. A good half an hour walk to circular quay but amenities were close by. So expensive for a hostel but thats Australia for you. Oh and I don't like how I had to pay for luggage storage.

I stayed there just for 4 nights and was ok but not great. I worked for different hostels and I dont get it why you split people on different floors because their nationality ?!! You just kill idea of hostel, its all about meet people from around the world and share that same room. Hostel is massive and clean, very secure but no good vibes.

The constant laud music all over the building was disturbing. It was especially disturbing when it started alreay 6,30 in the morning, when I was eating breakfast. The light was turned on first 6,30 in the kitchen. Many guests had to eat breakfast in the dark. Location opposite the railway station and the busstation was superb. It was easy to find.

Hostel in a great location if travelling from airport, too far from the CBD, harbour bridge & opera house. Good night life if you are into that thing. Room very basic but clean. Shower, toilet facilities average but reasonable clean. Overall quite expensive for the location.

It was a nice designed hostel for backpackers! But some drunk people talked aloud in the lounge at midnight and WAKE me UP at 1:00 am. It will be better if every bed can get a light on the wall:-)

Bed is comfortable. Location is quite close to the central station, i.e. 5 minutes walk. Shares bathroom is quite clean. Run out of hair driers though. Kitchen is not as clean as expected.

A very big hostel with great location, right next to Central Station. Clean and a good place to meet backpackers from all over the world. Only bad thing was expensive wifi and use of computers.

Excellent facilities. Very clean. Great location. Lockers in room are very good - bring along a combination lock. Atmosphere felt a bit pretentious and not all that friendly, in regards to other guests. May have been because it was the first place I stayed and I was unsure about everything, as well as the fact that it's a huge place, which leads to disconnect.
