Good location and really helpful staff. The 3 tier bunk beds led to prison style rooms though, and if you werent the 2 beds out of 9 right under a fan, you were sweating the entire night away.

We had the best time the staff was amazing and very helpful! The hostel offers lots of things to do a takes a fare price for everything. Great hostel!

This is a really nice hostel with a great location in Copacabana. The staff are very friendly and helpful and organised transfers and trips. Very ncie place with good atmosphere!

The beds look really creapy to be honest, but it looks worse than it is. Apart from that, the staff is really helpfull. Whenever I asked for a place to go or where to find something the draw me little usefull maps, so I could easily find it.

Awesome staff. Clean. Fun place. Fan failure was addressed immediately by the owner in the morning. I hung in Rio for about 20 days trying different places and this was by far my favourite. I will be back.

The rooms were tiny (specially the 12 p mixed room) , if you want to rest it;s not the room, BUT the staff was great, the place VERY clean and location and security excelent! I highly recomend walk on the beach hostel.

Internet connection didn't worked at times. Some of the (few) bathrooms didn't have hot water. The staff wasn't very kind.

Staff were really helpful and good at suggesting activities although very few night time activities were organised for us. Rooms were fine...although never seen a triple bunk before. Great location by Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and fun vibe. Would really recommend it.

Great staff (especially Dom) and location. Very clean. The bar is intimate and great for meeting other travellers. The free breakfast is tasty and the staff are very knowledgeable and eager to help about all things Rio. Loved my stay here.

Great hostel with all the essentials required for an excellent stay. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Rio!

Very warm and welcoming hostel, the Guest Relations Manager really takes care of you, so is the rest of the staff. You can see they have fun at work and enjoy what they do. Every little suggestion will be considered and tried to make real! Its great atmosphere in the hostel and it will take just 10 minutes to walk to the beach. The beds are big and if u fall at sleep in front of the TV, It will be comfy too, I spend a whole night sleeping there because of a snorer! :-)

Excellent place, nice breakfast, great team (always ok to help organising your trip). Nice location at 5 min of the beach. The 2 cleaning women are very very sympathic. Fair price and very good service. The reception team are polyglot and pro-active to chat and give new tips. I extended my stay for 5 days as well it was running. Very nice atmosphere !!

The staff at the hostel were extremely helpful and friendly. They had great advice on all aspects of Rio, tours and other places in Brazil. One guy even drew a map for me to give to the taxi driver when I wanted to visit another suburb. The hostel sends you specific directions to give the taxi drivers from the airport to the hostel which was very helpful for me as a non-Portugese speaker. Everyone I met at the hostel was super friendly and helpful and the location and security were excellent.

Lockers are very small. Great staff though very helpful. Owner is awesome

I had a great time at Walk on the Beach hostel, the staff are very friendly and have lots of great recommendations and the hostel is in a good location. The next time I am in Rio de Janeiro I will be staying here again!

Very clean hostel. Staff was helpful and very good about always making sure that the guests knew what there was to do in Rio each night. Great location and great atmosphere.
