The room really small and compact for 12 persons, always long queue for bathroom. Like the atmosphere, all staffs are friendly and helpful, wifi in room, good security and safe to keep important document in hostel.

I absolutely loved my stay here. the stay were incredibly helpful and warm. everyne whyo stayed there were really good people. safe. rooms were clean. beds were comfortable. the free breakfast was great. i have absolutely no complaints. would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and i hope that i am able to stay here again. the people who run the hostel were extremely helpful and always had a huge array of things for you to do. A++++

Staff extremly friendly and helpful, awesome location in Copacabana, easy to catch a bus to other places in Rio, good tour offers. Definitely recommendable!

I LOVED my stay at WOTB! I had quite the snafu with getting my debit card wiped and everyone on staff was extremely sweet and helpful about my situation. Staying in Rio was memorable but staying at your hostel made it that much more memorable. My only complaint and you guys already know this is that the bar is WAY too hot and stuffy. Invest in some more fans!! haha.

Only 3 bathrooms, but somehow it worked out. Toilets a little wobbly. Great staff - very helpful

really friendly english speaking staff who are so helpful to give tips and directions to places. the hostel is in a great location and i met so many cool people from around the world, we all bonded and did pretty much everything together, the place has a great feel about it, and offers reasonably priced activities from the hostel. recommend 100% if you want to really experience backpacking, go to this place, the rooms are all dorms, but the place has a great feel to it!

Had a great time at Walk ón the beach... Staff is excellent and really makes everyone feel at home.. The location just a few minutes walk from the beach is awesome.. I will come back before you know it!! Jannik

The hostel has a very very nice team, everybody engaged to give every traveller the most help to make your stay the best it can be in Rio. I met nice people there during my stay, I can really recommend this place to stay.

Stayed here after staying at another hostel in lapa. Hardly slept a wink, rooms were hot, mattresses really thin with horrid waterproof covers. Bathrooms awful, only cold water, narrow, dirty. WiFi was a pain as no more than 5 people could use it at same time, I think they resolved this in the end. Bar area is good for socialising, although only for 4 hours a day. Location was decent. Was left waiting 10mins+ at reception whilst the girl at desk chatted to her friend on phone

Very helpful staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms that were being cleaned constantly throughout the day. WIFI was a bit dodgy. The 9 bed dorm was cramped with minimal room to put your luggage and they were also very hot with no air conditioning only fans. Otherwise a great hostel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful in finding things to go out and do in Rio. Location was fantastic, just a couple blocks from the beach. I had no issues with security and felt very safe there.

Nice location and wery friendly and helpfull staff. Space a bit tiny and somewhere around needs an upgrade. Lots of nice and friendly people in the house and brekfast is fine as well.

By far one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! Its just a few blocks to the beach, two subway stations, and a grocery store. The owners are on site daily, and the staff is overwhelmingly friendly and helpful with little tips to make your visit special. An excellent breakfast is included as well. Ask Pedro the bartender to make you one of his special fruit drinks-you won't regret it!

Walk on the Beach is a truly excellent hostel and I really enjoyed the week I had there. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and are able to arrange a number of services for you from the hostel. The atmosphere is great, everyone socialises and goes out pretty much every night. Unlike some other hostels however the rooms are very quiet despite the party atmosphere. I highly recommend staying here and you are only a few blocks from the beach!

My stay at Walk on The Beach Hostel was great. The extremely helpful and super friendly staff provides a great atmosphere in this hostel which is conveniently located in central Copacabana. Certainly the staff will make a big effort to help you having a good time in Rio de Janeiro. Breakfast is allright and for a place so close to the beaches the place was quite clean in my opinion. Highly recommended!

The staff is really nice and helpful, always there to help, also the people staying in the hostel were really nice. Location was also good you have everything around and the beach is not far at all. I really enjoyed my stay there and I would recommend it for others as well.
