In my entire life I have never seen "professionals" so undercualificated. Working in front of people can be very hard and I can understand that we all can have bad days, but being rude, unfriendly and impolite is something you don't expect from the manager of an establishment

The Hostel needs a right good clean!! It is absolutely filithy. For £12.50 a night I fully expected absolutely no frills, but I did not expect the rooms and the entire hostel in general to be a complete midden. Our shower curtain was stained black at the bottom which then diffused into a lovely orangey pink. This is mildue and mold!! The room itself was dusty, cold and hadn't seen a hoover in a long, long time. The communal lift has also been used as a toilelt and HONKS! of pish!!!!

The dirtiest place I've been in my hole life. There are no staff in the reception. Beds weren't good at all. The value for money is good, it was really cheap, but be prepared for the price you've paid.

Room below expectations, especially because of the fungus on the ceiling.

in a good location for a group of guys drinking and clubbing.. but in general the hostel was dirty and mouldy and the beds were shocking. have had to go to the doctors because of bed bugs... would not recommend this hostel to anyone, just go to the noghtclub which was good!

We stayed at the hostel on the 13th of April 2013 it was only a 10 minuite walk from the train station so a great central location. We stayed in the private bedrooms they were basic but absolutely fine. Would stay here again great value for money in the city centre.

Great location for a night out and to leave your bags but rooms were not clean and the door entry system meant anyone could walk in. Rooms were cold and needed renovation- strong smell of mould.

This was the most horrible stay in a hotel I have ever had. The whole hotel was very dirty. Especially the bathroom was not acceptable. I did not even tried to take a shower since it was so unhygienic. The most horrible thing is that there were lying tampons on the floor, it smelt like urine in the lift and there was mould all over the place. Besides the furniture was partly destroyed. This hotel is that unhygenic that it is not even sufficent for a party trip.

A few friends and I went for a night out in Manchester and this was ideal - it was clean, central, and a place to sleep for the night. It's exactly what you pay for.

Excellent staff except one member who let the team down badly. The bar was very good as well, food was excellent and drinks very reasonable for being city centre.

The hotel looks like an ex soviet military hospital, the room and the bathroom were really old and bad kept. The only good things about this hotel are: The location and the bar which is located at the bottom of the hotel. is not good if u come here as a couple but for lads holiday is ok.

Absolute dive, but dirt cheap. All we wanted was somewhere to get our heads down so it was fine for us, don't bother staying if you're fussy. Our radiator was detached from the wall, the shower curtain was black (I was the only one who braved it, wasn't too bad). I've stayed in better places but would probably stay in worse!

The apartment was not very clean, especially the toilet. Also, we could barely sleep that night because of all the noise that came from the pub downstairs (the fact that the window was broken and did not close properly didn't help us to sleep).

I was chocked by the dirt found in the bedroom: blood on the bed sheet , hair in the bath , chewing gums on he floor. This is by far the dirtiest hostel where I have been. I would also change the mattresses on the beds as they are obviously very old ( I was in so much pain the next day) ans increase the temperature in the room. This is not good value for money I'm afraid.

The music was so loud until 3 am! One night we came back to the hotel and there was a note saying that our keys didnt work anymore so we could not enter the building and that we had to go to the bar to get new keys. except that the bar was closed. we had to wait outside in the cold until another guest opened the door for us. And when we wanted to check out there was nobody at the reception nor in the bar!!

We arrived at 11:00 pm and they didn't have any problem to check in us.. The only thing is that the wi-fi was only in the reception and it wasn't working

Living in the 4bed room with reasonable price n easy reachable location. Recommended. But kinda susprise that there is 1 double bed and 2 single beds, rather just 4 single beds. Beds r tidy and the noise down the bar in ground floor does not really matter that much, ps we live on 4th floor. Usually no one in reception counter but since bar and hostel are under same operation, can reach staff there for any enquiry. However, there is no drinkable water provided!! and the ensuite toliet is dirty.
