A good place to stay with a short budget of money, especially only 1 night that you would want to go. Overally sari satisfied

Definitely a case of you get what you pay for with this hostel. The carpets were mouldy and there was rubbish on the floor. However, it served its purpose but I wouldn't recommend it for staying longer than a night.

The door to Room 413 opened without a key and somebody had used all the tea, milk and sugar before we arrived.

The room in the hostel was very poor cleaned, especially the bathroom, where you could find fungus on the ceiling and on the shower curtain! But what is even more important, me and my friend stayed there in December, and with almost minus temperatures outside, there was NO RADIATOR in the room! It was freezing cold, so most of the time we spent there, we were sitting in our coats on. Also, when we went downstairs to the reception, the reception was already closed, so there was no one to make a c

Although I wasn't expecting much for the price, I was expecting a good night's sleep. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in! The corridor carpet was extremely dirty and smelt of alcohol. However the staff were very friendly and brought an iron up to our room when requested. It is noisy at night but it didn't bother me really as I was there for a night out anyway.

Couldn't sleep because of subwoofer shaking the very foundations of the building. Nearly lost a tooth.

On arrival we noticed one of the rooms radiators wasn't working and was infact left hanging off the wall. This room (402) also had a faulty window, which meant it was constantly freezing for my friends.

I only stayed for one night so it was bareable, but if you wanted to stay longer and get a shower or a wash then good luck cause it was minging. The bath, sink and toilet were definately places I would rather not go. The room was a large room with a single bed and a double bed. The single bed caved in as the divan frame had been broken underneath and the mattress had been strategically placed back on top! The room was freeeeezing but we put the electric heater on and left it on all night.

I read on a review that you have to be drunk to able to sleep here, I laughed at that. But in actual fact we got there and I kept my shoes on the while time... Me and my friend went on a night out came back mortal and said to each other 'it's not actually that bad' Good location, and friendly staff, but don't expect too much from it, it is exactly what you pay for.

Reviews are often quite bad for this hostel, but for the price we found it to be perfect. We had a four bedroom with en suite for £50, right in the city centre! Will definitely be using it again. Bed sheets were clean, beds were comfy and shower was hot! Blinds needed fixing and if we hadn't asked the lady to fix the heater it would've been freezing in November, but she did fix it and it was toasty. Great place.
