It's about 25 minutes walking from border bridge. Loved the rural ambiance of the wooden house.
Seems to be a hostel run by a family. They are friendly and kind. But the staff are only there for couple of hours in the morning. Most of time, just you and several other guests. You can use password to enter the gate, but there is no lock for the bedroom. There is a market within couple of blocks. But looks like there is no vending machine or cafe within 5min walk. So, bring ur own food !
A comfy and familiar enviroment that makes it feel like home, Caroll is super friendly to everyone. Clean and warm bedrooms, clean and private bathrooms outside the bedroom. The bad thing: they don't have a 24h reception. So you have to say the EXACT TIME of your arrival when you book, otherwise there wont be anyone to open the door for you. If you're not sure of when you're arriving at the time of you book, which is usual for backpackers, this is a problem.
I like Wanderfalls. The staff are very nice and helpful. They gave me detailed information on travel and sent me an email about the check-in time in advance. They are organised in running this hostel and treating every customer as a good friend. Awesome. The place is cozy and clean. I enjoyed the pancakes in the morning for free.
