It is a great hostel and I had a great time. Carroll, Andre and Nancy are really helpful with everything and the pancakes in the morning are amazing. It takes around 15min to walk down to the Niagara Falls which is ok for me and there is also a bus down to Niagara Falls in short walking distance. Because it is NY there isn't much to do around and the area seems a little bit sketchy but I did not had any problems during my stay. I would highly recommend this place!

Nice and small hostel in walking-distance to the falls. A big supermarket and the bus-station for the bus to Buffolo-Airport are just around the corner. Would stay there again.

I truly can't fault this place, it's homely, Carroll, Andre and Nancy are amazing and free pancakes in a morning are always a win :D it's very clean, very well equipped, the staff are extremely helpful with telling you the best places to go etc and they will do your laundry (wash and dry) for $5. Everything a weary traveller needs :)

Hostel is great and staff as well but the neighbourhood seemed not very safe.

Owner Comment (Hide)
The neighborhood is fine. We have a great street with great neighbors. We live in an urban environment with all kinds of people. The city's population has declined dramatically in the last 30 years, which has lead to many empty buildings that can add to an air of insecurity. However, the immediate area around the hostel and the falls is as secure as any small city neighborhood.

A very nice and clean old school North American style home run by a very friendly couple. We arranged a pickup with Andre from the Amtrak station which is a bit far away from the place, but the buses to Buffalo are just 'around the corner'. The falls are about 15 minutes walk from the house . We highly recommend the place for a short 1 or 2 nights visit to the Niagara :-)

my mom and I had a wonderfull experience there, it was an old owooden cozy house that we felt like home there, it was located in a nice quiet area 15 min walk to the falls, we could cook there, we could make hot tea any time.. I wish we would stay longer.

it's a wonderfull place where you feel at home, in a typical small and confor american house! It was a good surprise and a great pleasure to discover this place, where the hosts are really nice, helpfull and generous with always the smile! Pancakes home at morning were delicious!

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They will go out of their way to help u with anything u need. The place is small and cosy with a quiet, homey feel, good atmosphere. Great for relaxing but if u want to party this is not the place. There are no locks on the bedroom doors, but lockers are available.

Great hostel. Small and homely in an old wooden house, very clean, very friendly staff and very easy to meet other travellers. 5 mins walk to a supermarket & cheap restaurants & 20 mins walk to the falls. The only problems are that the dorms are fairly small so it could be a bit cramped when it's full and something other than bland, boring pancakes for breakfast would've been nice. That's being too fussy, though. In general, an excellent hostel. Highly recommended.

Very clean, perfect location for the falls, family-style, supermarket nearby, bus station nearby.
