We had a really pleasant stay at Warere. Staff is super friendly and helpful. From the port you just walk 2 minutes. Also to town centre it´s only a few minutes. I´m definitely recommending this hostel!
Good location, nice breakfast and decent clean rooms
Really lovely hotel with beautiful, traditional zanzibari deco. Very friendly and super helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful at the upper floor terrace with great views of the old town and port. Some streets nearby are not exactly well lit but this seems to be pretty much the norm in Stone Town. I must say, however, that I was there as a solo female traveller and I didn't feel unsafe walking or wandering around the streets of the old town or going back to Warere.
Close to the port and 5-6min from stone town center. Its basic accommodation but similar to other hotelsnin Zanzibar for this price. Not as good as everyone else says on here in my opinion.
waaaw! congrats to the staff. it's the oasis of the city. beautiful, clean, comfortable. we really enjoyed our stay! near to the ferry station, if you leave by ferry you can go by feet.
Our booking had been muddled up when we arrived so we had to change rooms part way through our stay. We received a small discount and the staff were very helpful moving bags and rectifying things. Good service all round.

Nice and clean with friendly helpful staff. Walking distance to the spice markets and the Forodhani Gardens.
Beautiful building, rooftop restaurant was great and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend it to anyone
Stayed at Princess Salme which is just a stone's throw away prior to coming here. I must say it's that's noticeable notch higher at Warere. Love that there were less moquitoes in the room and the aircon is available. My only issue is the wifi couldn't reach the room but it is a minor thing.
