Hidden in a back alley, nice rooftop terrasse, very clean, small but comfortable room, nice and helpful staff.

The ceiling leaked from above into bathroom, this was not good.

Nice place: well-maintained, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location near the ferry port. Better breakfast than I've found most places, which was appreciated. I felt like the price was rather high, but do know that Zanzibar is more expensive than the rest of Tanzania; nonetheless, it did appear to be comparable in price to other properties of equal quality in Stone Town. Recommended, yes.

Loved the breakfast on the roof each morning. The staff were really helpful and even met me when I came off the ferry.

I really liked the staff. The bathrooms are a bit odd, having mirrors in the shower. Also the windows in our room didn't shut. The dining area is also a bit small to accommodate a full house. In the end, we did like it. Patrick is a great help!

They overbooked the hostel, so I was not able to stay during my intended reservation. Since I was desperate and had no place to stay, I took their suggestion to stay at the Funguni Hotel which was a terrible, downtrodden hostel. The manager of Warere Town House said he was doing me a favor of refunding my deposit which in itself, was an insult(the 'favor'). What is the point of a 'confirmed' reservation when the hostel overbooks? This hostel is RIDICULOUS and NOT RECOMMENDED. STAY AWAY!!!

The room looked so beautiful. I had a hot shower and the breakfast was really good (on the rooftop terrace). It is about a ten minutes walk from the city center, which is fine, since it's a nice walk. I would definitely recommend Warere to someone else!

Hi all! We spend the most amazing week at Warere, as soon as we arrived the receptionist took really good care of us. We got help in arranging trips, finding shops and good restaurants. All staff in Warere are truly dedicated to their work and customers best intrest is their main priority (they even arranged us some flowers when one member of our group had a birthday). If I need to say something that they can improve, it will be breakfast. But only because I\'m used to eating dark bread :)

Very friendly helpful staff, nice rooms, and great air conditioning which was much needed for the night we stayed there! Would highly recommend.
