The hotel is centrally located, even if the street where is located is not very enlightened. Typical colonial structure very nice, the staff very helpful for any need. good value for money

Great places to stay in Stone Town. Shauna went out of her way to be helpful, as well as the rest of the people working there!

A delightful hostel with friendly & helpful staff, atmospheric architecture & decor, a pretty & well-kept garden area and a roof terrace with honesty bar. Located in a dingy back alley in the port area but it is only 5 minutes walk to Mercury's Bar and another 5 minutes to the centre of town. This walk might be intimidating in the dark particularly for females but we were reassured that it is safe and did not experience any problems. Wifi did not work when we were there. Would stay again.
