I've spend a wonderful time in Warere Town House!! It's a beautiful building with a excellent terrace~! Staff were all great!! Really helpful~!! Close to the ferry but a little bit far( 10 minutes walk?) from the center town. Comfortable single room. Wifi is fine. Anyway, will definately stay there again if I go to Zanzibar.

We had a lovely stay here at Warere. Staff are amazing and very accommodating. The location is a few minutes walking from the Old Stone town and Forodhani gardens. The breakfast in the morning is great too! We even took a spice tour that the hotel was advertising. Mr. Mitu's spice tour was a highlight in our trip. I would absolutely come back here.

Enjoyed our few days here. Only a ten minute walk into Stone Town centre and close to ferry terminal. Our double room was small but well furnished and en suite was good. Nice roof top terrace and breakfast was good, Wifi reception patchy.

The hotel is placed near the ferry and thus close to everything. The staff is very kind and as we had a fan, that was extremely noisy, they went and bought a new one and changed it within 2 hours. The rooms are clean and hot showers.

Warere has beautiful, clean rooms, really helpful staff, and is walking distance from the centre and main attractions in stone town. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. You can tell that a lot of thought and effort has been put into the furnishing of the hotel, as well as the service. The rooftop restaurant/ sitting area is so nice; not too hot, beautiful, and has a good view. Though the price for supper was a little steep compared with prices at other restaurants around stone town.

Nice, quiet and clean place. Good location near the ferry, not too far from the center either. Very friendly and helpful guy at the reception. Roof terrace was nice and relaxed.

We had a really pleasant stay at Warere. Staff is super friendly and helpful. From the port you just walk 2 minutes. Also to town centre it´s only a few minutes. I´m definitely recommending this hostel!

Really lovely hotel with beautiful, traditional zanzibari deco. Very friendly and super helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful at the upper floor terrace with great views of the old town and port. Some streets nearby are not exactly well lit but this seems to be pretty much the norm in Stone Town. I must say, however, that I was there as a solo female traveller and I didn't feel unsafe walking or wandering around the streets of the old town or going back to Warere.

Close to the port and 5-6min from stone town center. Its basic accommodation but similar to other hotelsnin Zanzibar for this price. Not as good as everyone else says on here in my opinion.

Our booking had been muddled up when we arrived so we had to change rooms part way through our stay. We received a small discount and the staff were very helpful moving bags and rectifying things. Good service all round.
