Amazing hostel! Don't be put off by the reception as once you are led to the pool it is a totally different perspective. Gorgeous bungalows surrounding the clean pool with plenty of sun loungers. The complimentary breakfast is the best we've had in all of SE Asia, pancakes and omelettes made to order each morning. Lovely beds and friendly staff. We were lucky as we met a very large group of people there who we went out with a few nights. Also a short walk to the beach. Staying again on way home!

Swimming pool, free wifi, food and beer served, bliss! However my first room hadn't been cleaned, the shower was cold and the toilet broke. I got moved to another room which smelt of petrol, it was next to the housekeepers, their phone kept on going off throughout the night, they were up early, chatting away (with a hangover this is not fun!) having said that no one else had a problem with their rooms so think I just lucked out there. Facilities are immense.

The hostel was way too far from the beach. It took us 30 minutes to go to the beach and as a girl I did not feel comfortable to go back by myself in the evening. Therefore, I decided to stay in to sit at the pool for an afternoon. The pool was great and there is plenty enough space to sit down, however besides tanning/reading there were no other options. The wifi did not work properly and the lobby was not an inviting place to sit around (like most other hostels I know).

- 15/20 minutes walk to the main street - good breakfast - good swimming pool - air conditioning in the room - not the most sociable hostel, so if you want to make some friends better look for another hostel - shower by the pool which was great because we were able to use it after checkin out - wifi is not the best in the rooms, works well at the reception - their tours are more expensive than the ones offered by proper tourism companies - it was really clean

Our stay in the warung hostel was very pleasant. The rooms are 2-bed-dorms" which makes it a really nice and easy way to get to know other travellers. Its not on the main street but a 10 min walk to the barstreet and a 20 min walk to the beachbis totally doable. The breakfast was excellent: You can choose between pancakes, omlettea, some indonesian noodles or toast or whatever and they cook it especially for you. Would definetly stay here again.

Amazing hostel. The staff is so friendly and always smiling. The breakfast is good and very fresh. They have the greatest pool and the aircon is very affective - and always on. I would highly recommend this hostel!

It's a little further out, about 10 -15 minutes walk from the Main Street but nice to get away from the craziness of kuta. Great swimming pool and a very large comfy beds

Bets hostel we stayed in in kuta, wished we found it earlier. Room was down the road from the pool but didn't matter as was well lit at night. Not in Central kuta but walkable or cheap taxi and very close to the bars in legion road. Expected a dorm and got but in our room with a bathroom and massive comfy beds!

Very relaxing place with a great pool. Much closer to the local eateries, but 30 mins to the beach. Free water refills, friendly staff and a good brekkie. Their airport transfer service is well worth it as the airport taxis charge a fortune! In short, if you want beach and party look elsewhere. If you don't, this place is great

Really enjoyed my stay here. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel - I booked a four bed dorm but wasvout in a twin room with someone else. The pool was realluynice and clean.

Wonderful staffs, very helpful, polite and pleasant. A good location, not far from Legian street.

Can't speak highly enough of this place. Good location, everything you need within walking distance. Staff are very helpful and wonderfully pleasant. The free breakfast is great too. We stayed here before trip to Gili T and booked back in when we got back. Highly recommended. Beautiful pool and surrounding area, fit for a pricey resort!! Poolside snacks during the day are great too and super cheap.

Great place to stay at, very helpful and understanding staff, clean, lovely pool, WiFi works decently although in peak hours the one available in the pool area might come and go. Quiet and comfortable. The kind of place you're happy to go back at after a long day out. Would recommend.

The place is ok but nothing special. The rooms at the very end average and kinda scary. Wouldn't stay there again. The staff is nice and helpful.

Beware, there are 4 rooms which are about a 3 minute walk away from the hostel which they like to lump guests into. As long as you're not put in those I'm sure it's fine

Great swimming pool, good people, good rooms, 10 min walk from Main Street and 20 from the beach :)

More of a hotel/resort than a hostel. Beautiful, peaceful, big pool, ok breakfast. My 2 bed "dorm" was in the end of the alley, but I enjoyed the walk in the cute surroundings. Felt really safe. Very clean - also the bathroom. Staff was polite but not superb. Walking distance from Legion street. Plenty of good cheap restaurants nearby on Mataram street. Just not a good place to meet other travellers naturally if you're alone. Roosters make noise.

Do NOT book a single room here because you might get the room all the way in the back of the dark alley with a design which has an opening to the outside..meaning there's never a time when your room is fully closed off from outside even if you close the door. Mosquitoes, spiders, geckos all got into my room. So many mosquitoes. Also, there was no TV as promised. There was a huge wet patch on the ceiling too. Location sucked and room had too many tiny occupants that weren't cleared. Good AC tho.
