The old fashion remodelled town house accomodates with friendly organized clean facilities in a quiet neighborhood. Bus stops by every 15min to downtown, Taxi fare is about $10. Next door is a simple chinese restaurant, and the supermarket a few blocks away with a walking distance. Washington DC is a government city not a business city like New York City. Cordellia is a very well educated professional family woman with life experience advising you for the essentials you want to know. No worries!

Nice owner you can ask for everything. Takes a few minutes time to explain the city. I would stay there again.

The neighborhood is not the best. Be sure you are going to get there before too dark. But once inside the hostel, you feel like Home. The woman is SOOO nice and the people there are very friendly. You can get lots of sleep because the place is quiet and there are not many guests. The bus stop is RIGHT in FRONT the Hostel, what makes thing VERY easy! bus each 20 minutes. I would stay there again, for SURE!

Everything is acceptable, except the location of the guesthouse. Is far away from the center of the city and it's a black neighborhood. You'll be the only white people on the street. Anyway we didn't have any problems on the street, but you should limited your walking there!

This place was okay to stay. There is only one way into the city, which is the bus. That works, but it is really dodgy. I had someone yelling religious stuff in my ear, while another was poking me. Just got taxis after that. It might have been worthwhile to just get a hotel.

Small hostel you can arrive by bus X2 (ca. 20 Minutes to downtown, 1,35 $ p.p). Theres no kitchen only a microwave, fridge and hot water maker. To clean the dishes we had to use the bathroom. The hostel has only 13 beds with one bathroom an on more toilet. It has no feeling but is good enough to stay cheap in washington dc. the two bed dorm has no windows!!!
