We found our stay at the Waterfront to be comfortable, quiet and easy. It's right in the centre of where you want to be, next to th lagoon and shops. Wifi was really good here too, kitchen facilities were fine although a bit dirty at times! Pool isn't really used as its a bit grubby, but was used here and there. Quiet at night which is really nice and beds were comfortable too. We found one staff member really helpful, we think his name was Benny. There was generally a friendly atmosphere too

The only thing lacking imo was lockers-my 6-bed dorm had a lock on the door and shelves but no lockbox for my passport or computer. Otherwise this hostel might be my favorite place so far. Right across from the Lagoon swim area and pier, right on a strip of restaurants and bars. Staff were very polite and helpful, and the free bbq on Thursday was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again!

Defenetly the worst hostel we have stayed in in any country .we booked in for 4 nights over Christmas. We arrived at 12.50pm and got told we could not check in till 1pm 10 minutes early big deal. Eventually check in at 1.50p no fridge space so could not buy food.small dark room realy springy matteres horrible Super thin walls kept up till 5am people openly taking drugs the mess next day was unreal fags on floor beer tables broke .....no j check out Christmas day 2 days early no refund cheers

This hostel is horrendous!!! Booked online to stay here and when we arrived the door was locked and there was a number, i rang it and the man said he would be there in 5 minutes...half an hour pasted and he still wasnt there, then we saw other backpackers arrive who said they had been waiting since 10am that morning, when he eventually arrived we had already booked into another hostel and told that we probably wouldnt get our money back...oh yeah and he looked stoned out of his face!

Ugly rooms small, to much noise in the kitchen, one shower

arrived at 5am, the owner/manager was highly intoxicated/stoned and kept saying it was physically impossible to let us in then two seconds later would tell us to come in and make ourselves at home. did not feel safe, showers were horribly dirty, room was fairly clean but tiny, location good. on hostel world it says they have a free airport shuttle which they actually charge $23 for and it was actually cheaper for us to get a taxi

The images displayed on hostel world of the hostel do not reflect the interior. Our room was very small for 6 people, with the door damaged and right next to the lounge and walk way to the other rooms. There were people playing Xbox outside our room until 2am, we were woken up by residents coming back at 5am from nights out and shouting outside tthe room. The air conditioner in the room was so loud but at least it covered the noise of people shouting outside.

By far the best thing about this hostel is its location; across the road from the lagoon and a short walk to supermarkets/shops/nightlife. Everything else was shocking. While our room was clean the communal areas (kitchen/fridge/dining area) were disgustingly dirty and weren't cleaned anywhere near often enough. We weren't able to lock the door of the ensuite bathroom attached to our room for any privacy. It is horrendously noisy all hours night and the noise levels aren't enforced by staff.

Very good!

I was very disappointed in this hostel. The showers have hardly any water and water stops while having a shower. To place the luggage on your leaving day in the storage room you have to pay half a day fee, which should b included in the money you paid for the nights already. Also it was about having luck to meet someone from the stuff at the reception. I spent my nights in a female dorm, but during the day male stuff members came Into the room without knocking or any other sign.

Hi Lisa we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay at the waterfront. Our day half day charge only applies if you are staying past check out time and using all facilities after check out. In the case that you are just leaving luggage their is no charge at all.

Good hostel if you're staying for one or two nights. No lockers available for bags or valuables. Double security doors at the front, but our room door was flimsy and had a massive crack in it (as if someone had punched it) and didn't lock properly. Very thin glass window separating room from corridor and on our last night we were kept up til 4am as people were screaming and shouting in the corridor. Aside from that, great location close to lagoon, market and restaurants.

Hostel had a good location and good atmosphere. However, in a room With some people that lived there so was pretty messy. Air con stopped working and when it was in it was like having a car engine running in the room.
