The staff at waterland made us feel right at home with endless cups of tea and fruit on offer. They were friendly and helpful, the two days we were in Hue it rained non stop so the umbrellas and rain coats the staff provided were extremely useful. The hostel provided a free taxi from the train station and went one of the staff went twice to the train station to buy train tickets for us. They made what could have been a miserable two days much happier.
This is one of the most friendly, helpful and welcoming staff! The hotel is clean and enjoyable! Definitely a must stay especially at the Price :)
the friendliness of the staff makes the place
The friendliness and generosity of the staff at this hotel was incredible. Free smoothies in reception area, they made us a free dinner when it was raining outside and the street was bit flooded, gave my partner some peppermint lotion for some skin irritation and dropped off some pictures to the bus station that we had left in the room. Amazing very friendly and would not accept a tip. Thank you to all the staff -breakfast was great too!
Nice little hotel in a backalley with spacy and comfy rooms with city view. Staff is always helpfull and tries to maske your stay as comforting as possible. They pick you up from train or bus station for free and can organize any trip or ticket you need. They even gave us free water when we where heading out. We had a quite a lot of rain during our stay and on the leave they insistet to gift me a propper raincoat because mine was useless. We felt comfy and well served.
This hotel is simply amazing. Not just because of its great location and lovely clean facilities but because of its excellent staff! The ladies at waterfront hotel go out of their way every single day to ensure you have an amazing time in Hue; from the free train station pickup and the free welcome smoothie, to them cooking us free dinner when we were flooded-in, the whole stay was excellent. What's even more is the fantastic value for money!! A real gem of a hotel!
A nice clean, centrally located hostel with super friendly staff. Only real bad thing was that it got hot in reception area. Rooms were fine though with super nice AC. The staff were AWESOME. They saw us leaving the Imperial City in the rain and dark and stopped on their scooter, called us a cab, and waited until it arrived so we got home safe and dry. UNREAL! Also we were on lock down for a day due to a typhoon and they sorted out meals for the whole day - and the food was GREAT!
Amazing staff that welcomes you with a delicious smoothie and fruit! Everytime we arrived back or were about to leave, we would be offered a glass of chilled bottled water. We arranged a driver with them to take us to the tombs and they called us afterwards to ensure that everything went well. Great location! Next to some excellent restaurants. Made our Hue stay memorable!
great hostel, good informatoin, great breakfast, lovely staff.
Located down a side alley but close to the main area. We stayed one night before catching a train in the evening. They booked a tour for us and we felt well looked after. They even did a deal for us to use a room for 2 hours to get showered and changed before having to catch an overnight train, it was well worth it!
Lovely hostel with great staff!! The room was spacious and clean with very comfy beds! The included breakfast was great and there was a good range of options both with food and drink! Staff were very attentitive and we booked a trip to paradise cave with them which was a good quality tour with only 8 people in our group!! I would definantely reccomend this hotel to my friends and family and would stay again myself!
This hostel is in a good location with helpful friendly staff
Staff very friendly, always producing cold drinks whenever you are in reception area. A little far from the citadel, but so are all the hostels! They were enthusiastic about all the tours, we actually arranged a trip to halong bay through them and they were great. Got a great deal with places to leave our luggage and buses included etc. All in all a smashing place. huge clean rooms and comfy beds.
Only stayed here one night but the room was very nice. Staff greeted us with fresh fruit and a smoothie. Awkward location down a random alley and a bit of a walk to the forbidden city, but the city itself is pretty so it's not bad.
Perfect stay ! They were so friendly and helped us with everything :) Rooms are huge !
The only thing I can say that was bad at my visit was that my shower did not have hot water. (my other friends did though) Other than that, easily the best hotel experience in my entire Vietnam trip! The staff was incredible, beyond helpful with any questions and exceptionally hospitable!
Good location with really helpful and friendly staff- we had a huge room and were given the most delicious smoothies whenever we were waiting in the reception area. Would definitely recommend.
Really good place - a hotel really, not a hostel. Outstanding and super-helpful staff!
This hostel is amazing. We got off a sleeper bus and spent 45 minutes finding it, to come in hot and sweaty and be greeted by the staff with fresh fruit shakes, fruit, water, and cold towels. They were so friendly, the manager even helping us out rearranging for the sleeper bus to pick us up in Dong Ha instead of Hue to make room for their DMZ tour. The room was very clean and presentable also, would highly recommend.
