The staff was awesome as they were very helpful! Their suggestions for places to eat were also all very delicious.

All of the staff were awesome, they were always so cheerful and helpful! Big common lounge makes it easy to meet people. Lots of bathrooms available. The €2 dinners were great and you got a plateful of food. The flamenco show wasn't a real "show" it was more of a private one person dance in a hostel owned bar. The free walking tour was really good and informative. I would totally recommend for everyone to try and stay here! Metro station right down the road, easy to get to.

Had a great stu. Good location and really great vibe. The kitchen is great. The staff were very helpful and apart from not having lockers for the bags and a slight lack of PowerPoints it was great

The hostel had a really nice, friendly atmosphere and the staff is really friendly and super helpful! It can get pretty hot in the rooms during the summer, as there are fans and no AC (at least not in the room I stayed in). They have dinner nights where the hostel provides dinner -- had the homemade paella, which was pretty good. Overall, a good stay.

Cool hostel! Got a great welcome from the receptionist and really felt at home. Cool place for travelers who want to meet other people, served beers and would definitely recommend it! Violeta who organised the pub crawl was really nice to all of us.

The hostel was EXTREMELY loud. We were in room 10 which was bordered by the street, the kitchen, and the common room. It was loud all hours of the day and even with earplugs in we were kept up by the noise. The fan did not work in our room and although we asked to have it looked at no one ever came. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We enjoyed the walking tour but the flamenco night was a bust and not a good value for our money.

Communication was poor prior to arriving (they were poor at replying to emails regarding changes in my reservation), but once I arrived the staff were great - so helpful and friendly. The location is great - close to the Plaza mayor and the El Prado museum and within walking distance of the cathedral and Royal Palace. There is a nice common room and good kitchen facilities and they provide free tea, coffee and churros in the morning. The beds are comfortable too.

Era mi segunda visita aquí en WAY y es mi hostel preferido del mundo. El ambiente es fantastico por la gente viajando solo o los grupos también. La facilidades son estupendo y la gente trabajando mas amable del mundo.

I liked the staff and the hostel over all. Always nice, when there are lockers in the room. It was not one of the cleanes hostels, but it wasn't bad.

This is the hostel to stay in while you spend time in Madrid. I met more people here than in any other hostel, there was a party every night, it was clean, the staff was great, and it is super close to the main square. Stay here

I loved this place. It's centrally located, next to the subway & 5 min walk to the center. The rooms are quiet, common areas social, bathrooms clean, and kitchen well-stocked for cooking. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and daily events were worth the time. Flamenco with Violet and walking tour with Harriet were great; I highly recommend these! The staff were super helpful and were full of great suggestions about how to enjoy Madrid. I would stay here again!

Great atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff, Bautista immediately made me feel comfortable! They also organise many events such as trips to Toledo and Walking Tours so it is really easy to get in touch with everyone!
