Great hostel but felt the staff could have been a bit more involved in the activities. Very clean and fairly lively area.

Great hostel. Events organised with all the other hostels is a good thing. Cheap dinners are great too.

Centrally located and great staff. Breakfast is tasty and they also do a great dinner deal--one euro for a plate of paella the night i was there! The lockers were kinda sketchy though--you needed a medium size lock (mine was too small and my sister's was too big)--otherwise it was a great stay!

The staff was very helpful and friendly and personally introduced themselves to each of us through out our visit. It is perfectly located in the center of Madrid, we could walk everywhere within 10 minutes. They make delicious dinners most nights that are super cheap and have free computers to use which is very handy. I also appreciated some of the activities they organized for us. The breakfast was good too!

Excellent location, clean, a good social atmosphere but not "party animal" nuts. Since I do a lot of writing, I found the lounge area too "loungy," not bright enough and no tables, but the adjoining kitchen area worked ok for that. It's in easy walking distance to all major museums & theatres, also close to the Metro. Helpful staff.

I loved my stay in Way Hostel. It was by far the best hostel i stayed. Showers were good, toilets were clean. Breakfast was really good. Cereal, toast and free coffee! Also, dinner is provided for just €2, best value you can get! The staff were really helpful and they try to make your stay in Madrid the best possible.

the location and the services from the staff are excellent! this is my first attempt staying in a hostel and i am impressed by the friendliness from the staff, they provided excellent source of information on anything you want to ask about madrid and getting around to places of interest on your own. the only drawback was the noise from the streets even at 4am and it can really be quite hard to get restful sleep. i was slightly taken aback by the red exterior of the hostel...

Way hostel is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The staff was amazing with pleanty of activities arranged. The common room was wonderful to meet fellow travelers and just relax after a long day of walking. The rooms were large and clean! Showers were a bit tight but doable. There is a breakfast but very limited, tosst and one kind of cereal. Its so close to cafes though you can always walk to a cafe. Overall a great place that I would stay at again!

Thanks for the good days in Madrid! I was very pleased by the helpful, friendly and creative staff, kitchen is full equipped, organized trips and the very central location close to the main attractions and just 20 meters away from Metro. Special thanks to the chief cook who regularly cooked so delicious dishes for the hostel's guests. The only point is a group of noisy roommates but is not about the hostel quality. Surely I would recommend!

Excellent atmosphere and activities. Very friendly staff! It was great coming downstairs every morning and being greeted by a smiling staff. Also there were various activitiesto join in that were very good, both touristic and fun.

The hostel is very close to the metro stop, and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is after the rooms were cleaned, the cleaning staff would leave the doors to the rooms open. Also, it was still possible to open the lockers even with the locks on. If keeping this in mind, I would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

I really liked the hostel. I had a great time there! The staff was great and very helpful. The hostel has activities to meet other guests and offer some day trips and tours (the walking tour was free). The room was clean and they rent lockers. It's in a walking distance from Puerta del Sol and very close to a subway. the only thing there was the outside light and noise. We couldn't be in the dark anyway during the night.

We absolutely loved Way Hostel. The front desk staff was very welcoming, always inviting us to events and constantly recommending good places to eat any go out too! We did a free walking tour with Harriet and it was SUPER FUN! She was very knowledgeable, upbeat and hilarious. Didn't do the pub crawl but heard from roommates that it was a good time. The only downside is that the 12 dorm would get really hot at night and sometimes toilets would be out of toilet paper. Location is great too :)))
