I've worked at a hostel for a few years now and The Way is just what you are looking for...to start the most friendly staff, very helpful, clean facilities, hostel activities, I slept like a baby bed was so comfy, and great location! Thanks again guys, hope to see you again!

From the minute we walked in, to, the moment we left, the staff was super helpful. The Hostel is located in the prefect place, right in the heart of the city, everything you could possible want to do is in walking distance, (even if you're lazy). Also the Hostel had activities planned for every night that we were there. All in all we had a great time, and would definitely recommend this Hostel to anyone else that is traveling to Madrid. :)

Very clean, spacious hostel. Kitchen is a little small but the chef makes Paella so he does all the cooking anyway. The rooms are like an absolute sauna at night. So unbearably hot with no air con. That is the only downside. Good common rooms, great location. Good night life nearby. Don't do the pub crawl, it's a rip off and there are much cheaper, better places you can go with just a little exploring.

I travel to Madrid often and this has by far been the best hostel experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and will gladly answer any of your questions! There is a yummy italian place literally across the hostel, Sol & Plaza Mayor are down the street, & they offer awesome activities throughout the week. I was there for Paella night, so fun! The bathrooms were very clean as well as the rooms/facilities. Way Hostel will be my \"Madrid go-to hostel\" from now on! I was very pleased with my stay!

I got the room on the first floor and it was noisy because it's close to the lobby and people go in and out and chit chat into the night. The staff was helpful to move me to the 2nd floor room which was a lot quieter. The room got a bit stuffy even with a fan on. If the air conditioner is turned on, that would help.

The Pro's: Way Hostel has a GREAT location. You're literally 1 minute from the metro station. The staff is excellent, always friendly and willing to help out. The hostel has tours & activities planned for most nights, including free paella dinner. The only con is the 6 person room I was in wasn't very well ventilated. There was no A/C and the door opening up to the outside was locked. It wasn't a big deal & didn't ruin my stay or anything. Overall the hostel was great.

Good location, very close to the metro station. Supermarkets are nearby, also have many restaurants and bars around. Staff are friendly and helpful, have lockers in rooms and locks can be rent from the reception by paying a deposit. Well-eqiupped kitchen and breakfast is included. Great atmosphere, get to see a tango dance party in one of the nights i stayed. The wifi is a little bit unstable though, but overall i will recommend this hostel.

Awesome staff, very sociable common room area, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The people in my hostel room were super social and I ended up making many friends. Couldn't have asked for a better hostel in Madrid. Warning though, the pub crawl is not worth it. Better to meet people in the common room and go out independently. Walking tour with Harriet was really fun though. Will definitely return to this hostel when I go back to Madrid!

The Way hostel makes a great effort to provide travellers with activities and social events i.e. daily walking tours, pub crawls etc. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable, and Bau in particular was always eager to help with any concerns or suggestions for restaurants, sites etc.

Nice location close to the main attractions and right in front of the subway. Staff is really nice and has a really good playlist of music going on! Also they have activities going on everyday. There is a common room and the kitchen where people hang out. Clean and the rooms have lockers inside. Would stay there again.

I really recommend this hostel - especially for the single traveller. It´s located right in the centre of Madrid, good facilities including kitchen and fridge space, and the extra activities they put on are really worth trying out. Staff are so friendly as well - one guy at the desk saw i was feeling a bit peaky after a night out and made me a cup of tea and gave me some paracetomol - so nice!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The lounge room was lovely and a great place to relax. And once you step outside, you can easily go to a lot of places within a walking distance. And it's really close to Puerta del Sol too. The pub crawl, tapas tour and everything were really good. Erica the Colombian walking tour guide was simply excellent. We missed her enthusiasm after the walking tour! Oh, and the beds were fine too!
