Overall worth the money, unfortunately, early in the morning quite some noise from the streets. Major plus: we booked online and the prices turned out to be higher than online was mentioned, we only had to pay the online amount of money.
Nice and quiet, near the main square. Definitely not a party hostel. Needed to pay to use the cooker and microwave which I thought was a bit stingy but everything else was ok! Had a quiet stay there, not much of a buzz but thats what I wanted atthe time! Very good value for money in genera.
Very lovely place! Booked 1 night and stayed 4. I enjoyed the place, one colonial house, close to plaza de armas, 3 blocks. Safe place during night and day. The staff is very sweet and helpfull, they helped me to book activities and to safe money with a bad agency (escandinavian travel, don't go there!) You can trust in the staff, they give you good recommendations for restaurants and activities (canyon, rafting and bike). Clean property, chill out and family place. I recommend it without doubt!
Good hostel. Big rooms. Nice outdoor areas. Poor breakfast. Recommended...
Nice old colonial building. 10 minutes to the main plaza. Breakfast is average, when you are early you might get the bread from the day before. Booking with hostelworld was fine, personal booking didn't work. They forgot to put my name in the reservation list. So I ended up in the dorm instead of a booked single room. Otherwise staff was very helpful.
Horrible staff. Rude. Additional charge to use the kitchen, despite nothing being said in the description.
great stay at this hostal, we stayed 2 nights before and 1 night after our colca canyon trip. Staff were really helpful, some don't speak English but were great at communicating with gestures and we got by! Showers were really hot and beds very comfy, would definately stay again.
The owners were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us with transport, they also helped us get a full refund from a tour company (that we didn't book through the hostel) when our Colca Canyon mini bus didn't show up.
Comfortable place to stay in Arequipa. It's an old building as many hostels in the area are, but it's clean and safe and the staff is really helpful and sweet. The WiFi was spotty while I was there but there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby that have WiFi so it wasn't a major issue.
Awesome place to stay. The workers/owners are sweethearts. Only a couple blocks from the main square. Dina is awesome, will go totally out of her way to help you out. Definitely not a party hostel. However, I had a private room and they gave me zero problems if I were to bring a local girl home with me. Place is dope!
