we found the staff very friendly and welcoming. the hostel had great views over city and plenty of room to relax. it was very clean with loads of showers and info avail about activities.LOVED the free internet and the quiet rule meant there wasnt people partying all night like other hostels.Very impressed had a great night would reccomend to others.

Great location, right off the main street Courtenay Place. Only street parking ($4.00 p/h) available. Facilities are clean (and interesting).

Not too homely, kind of cold and uncomfortable.

Had 2 bottles of wine stolen out of the fridges in the common area after they had been in there for 1 hour! Also had food stolen from the common area. Talking to other people staying there this is quite a common occurrence. Apart from that nice hostel with good facilities and free wifi/internet. Good location

A BIG place in downtown Wellington. Seemingly well run. Staff friendly and helpful. Large common area and kitchen. Room clean; well heated; toilets and showers adequate and in good repair. Computers/internet, while free, didn't all work. Wireless reception (also free) in at least some rooms.

We stayed in a twin ensuite and you cannot beat a room like we had for the price that we paid. Plus there's free internet in the lounge. the facilites are really nice and it's right next to all the bars and clubs in Courtenay Place. A great place to stay!!!

Massive common room / kitchen, biggest I've seen at a hostel so far. Free internet provided. Heaters in rooms too which you will need in winter.
