An average hostel, location is walkable within the city. A lot of young people staying here, so kitchen was unfortunately not so clean. The bathrooms were average and the rooms need updating.

great location. staff were helpful too. lockers in the room are pretty standarrd these days and would be really great to seee at wellywood.

Wellywood was great, we got a private room for the price we were paying for a dorm elsewhere so the value for money was excellent. All the facilities were great and the staff really friendly. We didn't use the kitchen but it was large and had ample storage space in the fridges. The internet is also free which was FAB. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

excellent location for everything downtown in wellington. common room is really big and lots in there.good kitchen but could be kept cleaner.free internet!!!

Having backpacked across every continent bar antartica I can confidently say this is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The communal areas rocked, they were huge and had everything. Great location and security too, very reasonable price particularly what was on offer. Would most definitely recommend.
