a great place to stay. it is a hotel so its not great for solo travelers trying to meet people, but i knew that before i decided to stay here. however, it is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and it is off of the main street so you can walk to town and party and still get a good sleep. i will probably stay here again if i come back in march and i still have $, but there are other good places that are cheaper if you look around town. i talked to people that had nice rooms for half the pricea great place to stay. it is a hotel so its not great for solo travelers trying to meet people, but i knew that before i decided to stay here. however, it is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and it is off of the main street so you can walk to town and party and still get a good sleep. i will probably stay here again if i come back in march and i still have $, but there are other good places that are cheaper if you look around town. i talked to people that had nice rooms for half the price...Close

Good rooms, good showers and you get towels. The couple running it were helpful and booked heaps for us without a huge mark up. Lots of free advice too. This place is ideal if youve been backpacking for a while, to have a break from dorms, and to have some privacy. This is hostel is more like a budget hotel. But for us this was fine. Rooms are clean and there was nothing wrong with it. Rooms are cheap, so good value for money. The couple who run this hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We have been travelling in China for over a month and would rate them as the best hoteliers yet. The hotel is well located - about 5 min walk from west street so nice and quiet. Comfortable beds and clean rooms with aircon and excellent hot showers. Great location - not on West Street so could actually get a decent nights sleep, but only five minutes walk away so could still enjoy the night-life! It was also really close to the bus station and easy to find. The room was lovely, very spacious and clean. The staff were really helpful in booking our trips and sleeper bus, they even took us to the bus station so we caught the right bus! Not a very big menu but the food was good. A brilliant hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. I'm writing this review @ West Lily Hotel, yes this means I'm still here (I've booked for 3 nights initially and right now I'm on my 6th or 7th night, I've lost track). This place is more a small hotel then an hostel, if you're looking for wild parties then this place is not for you. Its very close to West street and yet far enough for you to sleep :D. Everyday small clean up on room and fresh towels.The staff is extremely nice and willing to help.
