In this place it's better not to stay on saturday night unless you for for partying. Lots of guests are staying for this purpose and make lots of noise at night. Staying on Friday night was ok though. Also the room could be cleaner and toilet paper in the bathrooms. I asked for invoice for staying at this place and never got it.

Having a party at the lounge is not a problem but why would you want to lock the main door which prevent other people from entering. After ringing the bell for so many times, it appears useless as the music was turned on so loudly. Once the door is unlocked, upon entering people just stared at us as if we have killed someone. It is really inconsiderate. The room is so small that it feels like a prison cell and it also has some kind of unpleasant smell in it.

It's a roof over your head, nothing special. Shouldn't really be called a hotel. It's a little way out of the city in a not so great area. Just don't expect anything great.

Just stayed one night, but really liked the place as it suited my needs perfectly. If you want to party, stay here on a Friday or Saturday night. I had a great night in Newcastle but needed to kip afterwards so I took earplugs. I didn't need them. On Easter Sunday night the place was quiet, cosy and warm. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the room was fine. 20 minutes walk downhill to the city center. Really liked the place.

There was no breakfast available even though it was said that it could be ordered. Also really noisy on Saturday night.

Friday night stay was excellent, the man working there was super friendly and helped us out a lot with taxis, adaptors, etc. The room was basic but very comfy, with a nice bed and a heater and sink. The showers didn't have a place to put dry clothes, but were otherwise fine. The Saturday night stay sucked, but only because there was a pack of very loud drunk stag party type idiots next door who set the fire alarm off in the middle of the night and destroyed the bathroom. Beware weekends!

I thought it wasn't as professional as the other hostel. We never showed them an ID card or so and when we arrived nobody was at the reception. After the man gave us the key and that was. He didn't explain rules or said when we have to check out.

1. There was only one staff in the hotel and with no intercom, had to go down the stairs each time to request anything. 2. Heating wasn't On till few people reported the same to Hotel staff 3. No beverages & refreshments in room, or Breakfast provided unlike other Hostels in this price range.

We don't like the location: Far from the centre(about half an hour walk) but there are buses to centre and the bus stop is just outside the hostel. And our friends told us that area of the city is not really safe. Quite clean, and not noisy as some people said, probably because not many people were staying there during our visit. No city maps, sorry. Free tea and coffee. Nice owner, and he is the only one staff there. But really cheap, I have to say.

It was more like a hotel, so not a good place to meet new people. There is no self-catering klitchen, but free coffee and tea. The staff was really friendly, our room was cosy. But the ho(s)tel is not located well. It is really far away from the city centre without (much) public traffic.

It's what you expect. Cheap and not cheerful. Didn't feel very safe but was very clean. Felt like a halfway house.
