Bit of a pain to get to without a car, but a lovely old building with good staff and such. Gotta say there is not much on offer in the town itself, but that's hardly the hostel's fault.Bit of a pain to get to without a car, but a lovely old building with good staff and such. Hostel was clean and well looked after. On arrival we were given advice on the tours locally and also other advice on how to make the best of our stay. The character and history of the hostel was facinating and made our stay truely memorable. The staff were helpful and friendly and we would definately make a return visit.Hostel was clean and well looked after. Lovely place to stay - I wouldn't have called it a hostel myself, more of a hotel or motel. 'Classic' rooms with maid service, helpful staff and everything you could need. No locks on toilet doors was a bit strange, and although there was a fridge and microwave for your own food, there were no surfaces or utensils to make food, and nowhere to eat it except your bedroom. A great stay overall though.Lovely place to stay - I wouldn't have called it a hostel myself, more of a hotel or motel. 'Classic' rooms with maid service, helpful staff and everything you could need. This hostel is a little on the pricy side and there is no kitchen. However, the beds are really comfortable and it is run like a hotel with maid service and coffee and tea in the morning. Basically, it's a slightly cushy hostel. This hostel is a little on the pricy side and there is no kitchen. Great location for entering the park via the west entrance as it's only a couple of minutes drive. Good clean rooms and showers/toilets. Shame that half the park's inhabitants were decorating the lounge walls... Rarely saw any other people that were staying, so not a very social atmosphere. Not the hostels fault but most of the local restaurants / food shops are closed by 10pm.Great location for entering the park via the west entrance as it's only a couple of minutes drive. The hostel was very central to all the local facilities and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and were very knowledgeable about local area and facilities. The hostel was very central to all the local facilities and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and were very knowledgeable about local area and facilities....Close
