Madison Hotel said that they never get the deposit form hostelworld.com. They made us pay the full fee. We are mad at being double charged but have no idea who is telling a lie.

The liquid soap in the rooms and the shower was way to heavily floral scented, especially for (1) men and (2) anybody who's chemically sensitive to heavy artificial scents. Much better would be to use a soap that has a neutral scent. I could not handle having the floral scent on my hands after washing them, and rinsing just removes the suds, not the awful scent. The lighting was weak. A reading light would be wonderful. Having a window that opens would be great.
