Normal room with little space. The door of the toilet is hard to open, and the carpet is dirty, as well as the sink. I would say it's just okay to stay in this hostel with this price.

When I arrived at this hostel there was no one there. Just a sign on the door saying 'back in 30 minutes'. While it was very cheap the common room and my own room were tiny and when I wanted to print out my boarding pass for my flight the next day, I found out that there was no printing service. The directions for the hostel on hostelworld were also basically useless.

The staff for this hostel are very nice and helpful, However the heating system dont work, rooms are very cold and freezing, glass windows dont close properly. toilet flush not working properly. The lights and switches dont work. Location wise very good just 5 min walk from station.

The staff were very nice and polite. Room was clean and the kitchen was good too. The staff cleaned our bathroom every day and took the trash out. Perfect! It was more than we expected. Location was ok, just a 20 minutes walk from the city center. And the area was full of nice vintage shops and second hand shops. Only thing that was not so good, was that in our room was no lockers. I don't know if they have any. Although we didn't need them 'coz there were no-one else in our room. Good place!

The shower and bathroom were very clean but the water was a bit cool. The rest of the hostel was quite clean. People were being very noisy late at night with a staff member joining in instead of telling them not to be so loud. Also, there is no free breakfast. Signs all over the hostel and even on hostelworld say it but it was non existent.

I was on a tighter budget this time as opposed to last year when i visited Glasgow,so opted for this hostel ahead of the Alba in Anniesland where i stayed last time. I would use this place again if i was to make a longer stay of it in Glasgow and for more that a day (i had travelled overnight form London on the Friday and did the same in reverse on the Sunday)

Good location, close to centre and parks. Clean beds and free breakfast. Lack of lockers and limited shower rooms reduce the score.

Clean enough, hot water to take shower, quiet and many young people there. not in the city centre but very close to the university of glasgow.

Possibly one of, if not the most unfriendly hostels I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. Doors wedged open was common meaning security was rather appalling too. About the only thing this hostel almost gets right is the building was reasonably clean.

We slept in a very little dormitory of 10 persons. No place to operate the luggages. Only 2 showers for all the "Hostel". And 3 toilets for almost 50 persons. The free breakfast, is only a taste with butter and a cup of tea or coffee....

PROS: Good location near underground, social and fun, and VERY warm and comfortable beds. CONS: My dorm had a few more beds in it than perhaps was practical. Much of the remaining floor space was taken up by peoples luggage, and it felt a bit like sleeping in a luggage store room. OVERALL: A good stay. Very enjoyable. Just be careful you don't trip over peoples luggage when you come in drunk in the wee hours. :P

I think the location is amazing if you want to visit glasgow university. The staff were very helpful. The only thing i think is rediculous is thats theres only two showers for the entire hostel. and theres a queue in the mornings (i had to wait 45 mins). the staff are very kind and friendly though, and the breakfast isnt fantastic, but its deffinately not something to complain about.. the only thing i didnt like was that i was in the basement. Its a dingy, especially when its raining.

Well, I picked it because it was cheap, so I suppose I ought not to have any high expectations. I slept in the dorm, which was okay the first night, as the beds are good and the room wasn't full yet. But as it became full it became obvious that it was to small for that amount of people - it got very smelly in there, and since Glasgow isn't exactly the hottest place on earth, the window remained shut, while there was no air-conditioning. The kitchen was very small and without anywhere to sit.
