The hostel was good, a little far from the downtown, but people knows that (if they look the map on the page of Hosteworld). I think internet would be for free, and so the towels (they have'em for sale).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's close to the city center so if you don't mind walking you can walk everywhere! Nice and clean!

I like the breakfast, what I didnt like is that in the dormitorie bathroom doesn't have soap to clean your hands so bring yours, also there were people from all ages since kids to old people... So you dont feel good young atmosphere.

My whole stay in Vienna was ruined because of this hotel and this is the WORST WORST WORST experience I've ever had!!! The staff was not professional at all!!!! I know I was just paying for a bed so I only expected was just a bed and sleep till morning. However, even that simple they could not fullfil. During the first night of my stay, i was awake twice saying that i stayed at a wrong bed which it was arranged by the check-in staff, it ruined the atmosphere of the room and i could not sleep

Very weak Wifi signal. It is a shame really because everything else is good with this hostel.

very professional hostel. I have stayed there for a weekend. the only problem was the noise during the night because of some guests. but this is not a problem of the hostel anyway. very good place. fair price.

Would be nice if there was a legitimate kitchen to use.

From 2 backpacking girls on a budget: Aside from teh good breakfast, not our best stay at a hostel. We stayed two nights and our room on the top floor (so many stairs) absolutely reeked! It was the worst smell you could imagine and no way to get rid of it. The staff wasn't particularly helpful, but they weren't rude. The bathroom had water bugs and a light in the hallway that came on automatically and blinded us at night.

Location was excellent for metro use, but very far away from the city center if you are considering walking. Overall, very clean with great facilities.

Pros: - clean hostel (well kept common areas, clean sheets & very clean toilets) - very close to the Westbahnhof, so it is convenient to get around the city - breakfast included (basic but decent) - friendly and knowledgeable staff Cons: - no towels (not even on rent), but you can buy towels if needed - rather dull lobby (but this may have been due to the particular set of people at that particular time) - no universal socket adaptors (you need to have your own) - no snacks vending machine

Westend city hostel is great and very clean! The location is super, next to the new Westbahnhof-station and Mariahilfestrasse with all the shops nearby. Breakfast was nice surprise, even though it was very simple. Hostel was also very quiet at this time (January) of the year. I would definiently stay again and recommend to everybody! Gives you a good value for the money.

Nice hostel, very close to the train station, but a bit of a walk from the major sights. Breakfast was pretty standard, with bread, jams, muesli, and coffee or tea. Common room was nice and big, but kitchen facilities available are a bit limited, with only water boiler and microwave for cooking. Wifi didn't work on the upper floors of the building. Staff were friendly and helpful.
