The cabins are very cold! So you need a good sleeping bag!

Excellent hostel maybe a bit far outside of town for some peoples liking but i liked it was nice and quiet good facilites especially hot tub,brilliant staff in Graham and Allisson very helpfull couldnt do enough for you.My only complaint was that the internet facilities were poor and a bit pricey especially as the computers were very slow and had too go in to town to use the internet and printers,but that is only a small thing great place to stay def recommend it!!

Really lovely spot with so many accommodation options for a relatively small place i.e. hostel style, cabins, units(all with or without kitchens) also plenty of room to relax(spa, pool, tv room). Staff all so friendly & throrough. Fantastic service even though I was there barely 12hrs! Would definitely stay again if in that neck of the woods!

Had a great time, the staff were lovely (picked us up from town and dropped us back off, very kind of them), the location is pretty sweet - right next to the falls (go swimming, it's awesome!). The facilities were good, kitchen was excellent, everything very clean. Only thing with Whangerei is if you don't have your own car - be aware the buses stop running Sat lunch time and don't run again till Monday - stranded!

Really friendly & cosy holiday park with some great facilities. The kitchen is really clean and well equipped and, the lounge area is an added bonus with books, games and tv. The owners are lovely and really helpful.

Welcoming and helpful owners. Nice peaceful spot near the waterfalls.
