I stayed in this guesthouse for the third time (first visit in 2006) and was happy to find that nothing has changed - the feel here is that good old GH atmosphere and easygoing. A good cheapie of a traveller's spot. Staff a bit tired. Rooms small but OK with clean sheets. The shared toilets are fine too, some with hot shower. (TIP: If the flush doesn't work lift off the top and pull the 'plug' - easy.) Saw a few small cockroaches but have seen them in more expensive places too. Would stay again.

There is nothing in the room apart from a bed and a small desk with a stool. There is no way to hang your clothes or wet towel for example. The window can\'t be closed and the \'aircon\' blows an ice cold air one minute and hot air the next, ensuring you will get ill instantly. There is no hot water in the showers, nowhere to hang your clothes in the shower either.Filthy toilets with water running out of the bowl instead of into it.Most water taps are broken.By far the saddest place I\'ve seen in ages.

EXCELLENT LOCATION right next to Chinatown Market and Central Market, less than 5 mins to Pasar Seni monorail stop. Hostel toilets didn't work most of the time. Thought we had bed bugs, owner didn't really do much about it. But he has a pet monkey that he carries around at night which was awesome. Try to be here on Friday for the free dinner on the roof.

lovely free dinner on the roof top every friday. cute but small rooms. didn't like the fact that the rooftop didn't open until 6 pm. thought it was possible to hang out there during daytime aswell, but nope.

The hostel is very well located, cheap and clean but staff is not friendly. However it is the best place in this price.

Good value, one room was a bit smelly as they are quite often on Malaysia... Staff has to work too much but even that is very common in Asia. Friendly staff! No free WIFI

Funny atmosphere and not expensive. Expect a few stains on the sheets and some bugs though. Also no real windows. Breakfast is delicious!

Prison cell. Very hot room despite the noisy fan. Just enough space for a bed and table for fan - if you put your case down no space to walk. Dirty sheets. Uncomfortable ish mattress. VERY grumpy unhelpful man on reception pm- didn\'t give us bed sheet/towels when we checked in in the evening. Charged for wi-fi \'password\' (5rm) then changed it and had to argue to get the new password. The showers were half decent, one was hot and decent power. Great location and is only 3 English pounds a night!!

We weren't to pleased with the place overall, Its in a great location, heart of China town and close to everything, it is a cheaper hostel so you expect the basics but we found the place to be quite dirty. The sheets stunk and the room was overall not clean at all. IIf you want cheap and dont mind a little dirt its perfect, but there are much cleaner nicer hostels just around the corner, better bang for your buck with more amenities and comfort.

I've stayed at wheelers pretty much at my every stop in kuala lumpur and i'm planning on doing that. the owner is nice and very helpful, so is the staff in general. maybe its not the cleanest place but for sure its 1 of the cheapest around. at the doorstep of chinatown where u can buy what ever u need for ur travels. if u don't need an air con tv/dvd room with ur own bathroom and all u need is a bed and a place to shower. this is ur place. they have laundry service, wifi and breakfast etc.

Lovely Chinese women in the reception during the day. Grumpy Chinese man during the night. The owner is rather chatty and got half a zoo to show you! The rooms and showers are small and not very clean. Small cockroaches everywhere. Really good price though! Really well located in Chinatown! Over all experience was good!
