Great helpful staff at this lively place. The common area is steps away from the nightlife but the rooms are sufficiently removed that they are quiet and clean. This is a great balance between the party scene of Manila and the urge to get some sleep! Great facilities including TV and DVD collection for those evenings when you just want to chill out. Security are also very friendly and help point out the unsavory characters who might attach themselves to you on the street.

Great hostel with helpful employees. The area seemed to be a bit sketchy but we knew what we were getting into. I would definitely go back/ recommend to a friend.

Very nice hostel with extremely helpful staff. There was very little atmosphere during my stay, but it may be due to the fact that is was low season. I certainly recommand this hostel to everybody who stays in Manila...

The staff are very friendly and they organize games for you to enjoy. The atmosphere is very lively. Everyone will like it. The only thing I wish they can do more is to change the bed cover for those who are staying longer than 3 days, at least i would appreciate it. I stayed there for 11 days and nobody among the house keeper manage to change my bed cover and blanket. So hopefully this will give them the idea.

Very good breakfast here included, fruit: mango, melon and banana. Fried or scrambled eggs and toast with various spreads. Tea or coffee. Until 10am. Staff at breakfast friendly and helpful.

Nice hostel, very friendly and helpful staff who could answer all my questions. Cheap bar and cafe downstairs. Stayed there 3 times over my trip and would recommend it to friends

The only downside of Where 2 Next is that the neighborhood surrounding the hostel is incredibly loud at all hours of the day.

A little more expensive than other hostels. You could get a nice hotel room for the same price elsewhere. I wouldn't say that malate is the safest of places after dark either. Being in the Red Light District you have to expect things like that though. The staff in the bar downstairs are helpful enough to make it a back recommendation only.

Staff at Where 2 Next were friendly and helpful. The Malate area, where the hostel is located is good because it is near the airport and close to Intrmuros. However, in the evening it is not a nice place to walk around due to the high number of street kids asking for money and bars in the area. The twin bed room was fine except there were quite a few ants roaming around, I even found some on the bed.

This hostel is great! Big dorms with good bunk beds (nice thick mattress!), lockers and warm water. Everything is nice and clean. It's very close to the Robbinson Mall, LRT, Intramuros and not too far from Mall of Asia and Airport. They have free wifi, but a few others (like me) had trouble loading pages with our laptops...That was the only downer. Their best feature is their staff! Brian and Cris are AWESOME!!! They are just very involved with their guests and always make for a good laugh!
