Good place. Lower key and not that big of a party place. Guy got his laptop stolen by a girl he brought in off the street. So like everywhere in the PI rules are more of a suggestion as you are not allowed to bring non guests in the dorms. Safer than most places I have been. Hit up Edwin's Real Manila tour if the schedules sync. A lifetime experience. While the tour is free, expect to spend ~200p for travel plus what you want to contribute for the next group.

Slow WiFi anything else is good.

Smartly run hostel in central Malate, staff are cheery and helpful. Free breakfast, free wifi and all day coffee and the large shared area makes for a social atmosphere. There a huge apartment complex being constructred opposite which generates lots of noise and dust during the day and there's plenty of traffic and music noise to fill the hours inbetween. If you are a light sleeper maybe look somewhere else or break out the ear-plugs.

good a/c, decent wifi in rooms, nice included breakfast (lots of fruit!). location okay for exploring intramuros/not too far from the airport. definitely seemed expensive for southeast asia (shared bathrooms and very basic rooms), but we found the philippines in general to be pricier than we expected.

Owner Comment (Show)
Thank you for your feedback. Regarding our rates being expensive, we have already lowered our prices to meet customer demands. We hope you can understand and wish you still enjoyed your stay with us regardless. All the best with the rest of your travels.

Good place to stay in if you don't mind a bit of noise of nearby bars...

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are inside the room and the jeers have hot water. The beds are comfortable. The location is easy to get and a five min walk to Robinson Mall. The common area is conducive to meeting people. The wifi is free and fast. It also works in the rooms. Only negative is that is located near a karaoke bar and thy play music all and all night but ear plugs do the trick. Would def stay here again.

Never seen such a clean Hostel before! Located in a perfect area for strolling around, having something to eat or shopping. The 6bed women dorm room is sometimes a bit too much exposed to the music of the surrounding bars, but who cares, there is a AC in the room!

Not really what I expected for a hostel with such a high score and that price. In my opinion it lacks character dramaticaly and is to pricey. The room was totally white, with only 2 black beds and no bathroom and that for 1600 pesos. After one night we looked elsewhere and where able to find a much better room for less money. Maybe when your travelling alone the dorms can be fine, but for a couple this is not the place to be.

Thank you for your feedback. As a result of your comment, we have taken into consideration that a couple of rooms without paintings or artwork will now be fitted with accordingly to add more character to the room. Also as a result of other similar feedback regarding prices being too high, we have decided to lower them as per customer demands. We are a new hostel and are still going through improvements in order to provide the best service to our customers. We hope that despite this, you still enjoyed your stay.

Pros: comfy beds, clean linen, good breakfast with fresh fruit. Cons: expensive; they charge extra for things like luggage storage, blankets etc which is cheeky considering how much more you pay to stay here than elsewhere; no big lockers in dorm rooms to put your rucksack in; dorm rooms immediately off lounge so noisey; anyone could wander in from the street as no locks on front door or dorm door and front desk not always staffed. Overall it was ok, but I'd expect more for the money.

A little expensive, but worth it for the cleaner rooms and laid back hang out vibe. If you want to go out without going too crazy, this is a good place.

The staff was really wonderful. They were helpful, pleasant, and willing to share knowledge about Manila. For the most part I enjoyed my stay. But there were a lot of creepy men staying at the hostel who were there in the Philippines to buy prostitutes and the area was near prostitutes and really really loud night clubs.

We thank you for your compliments about our staff. Regarding the other guests in the hostel, we are sorry you feel this way, but guest preferences is beyond our control, same with anything that happens outside the hostel. We do, however, have a policy to deny entry to prostitutes entering the hostel.
