Set in a Grade II listed manor house dating back to the 15th century, the White House offers 4 star accommodation near Stansted Airport.
Surrounded by an acre of attractive gardens, the house has a range of luxurious guest rooms featuring flatscreen TVs, DVD players, WiFi, tea and coffee-making facilities and comfortable beds dressed in Egyptian cotton. The well-appointed en-suite bathrooms boast Victorian roll-top baths, power showers, complimentary toiletries and fluffy bathrobes.
Hosts Mike and Linda serve a tasty full English breakfast each morning from 8-10am, included in the price of your stay. A buffet breakfast is available to guests with early departures.
Ample parking space is available, including long-term parking for guests flying from Stansted Airport at a rate of £3 per day. Airport transfers can be arranged and a taxi from the White House to the airport costs on average £7.50.
As well as receiving 4 stars from the AA for its outstanding facilities and service, the White House has also received the prestigious Enjoy England Silver Award and has been highly recommended by the Johansens guide.

The proprietors are exceptionally helpful. Id recommend the White House to anyone considering a hotel near Stansted Airport, particularly given the fact that the other hotels formally recommended by the airport are overpriced and are not good value for money.
