The location was perfect, the staff very friendly and the hostel is definately good value for money. It would have been nice with somewhere to hang my clothes while in the shower, maybe also have separate showers for men and women. Also, it would have been nice with lockers so that you feel safer when it comes to leaving computers and other valuables behind when going on daytrips. These things are needed to make even security excellent;-)

Actually it is a nice place to stay, but the guys over there could improve a bit. When we arrived there, nobody was taking care of us. We had to asked around to find out who is working there. You have to ask for everything ... where is the bathroom? can I use the internet? (why?) could you please give us some breakfast? But it is fine. it is like a hippie commune! I liked the way the owner said goodbye to us "It was a pleasure to make business with you!". Great!!!

The staff at the hostel are great. They helped us arrange a very reasonable priced private tour to Vardzia and a taxi for our very early flight. Breakfast (cereal) is included. The common room is great and people are very social, so a good hostel for solo travelers. Location is an easy walk from everywhere worth seeing. But bear in mind Georgia is not western Europe, so the bathroom, while very clean, are still a little dingy and the mattresses are not the most comfortable.

Why Not? was perhaps the most enjoyable hostel I've ever been at. The staff was friendly, kind, helpful, fun, and everything else you could ask for in a hostel staff. They provide a free breakfast every morning and cooked us dinner on more than one occasion. The beds are comfortable, new, and clean. Tbilisi is a small city, and the location puts you right in the middle, just a block from the main street. All in all, an amazing experience, and Why Not? was a big part of that.

Very nice laidback atmosphere, service-oriented and friendly staff who seems to just love running a hostel. They could take a moment to fix some plumbing in the toilet upstairs to make sure it's not constantly wet on the floor (calcium deposits needs regular maintenance).

Great location, friendly and helpful staff and one of the cleanest hostels I've ever seen. Definitely worth staying in for bbq nights. Why not? hostel is cheap and a great base to discover Tbilisi and Georgia.

Staff were very friendly.Showed us some cool spots to go. Benji sometimes does a barbecue that guests can take part in, I recommend it! However there wasn't anything to secure valuables in, though the Hostel itself was secure.

Great place to stay in Tbilisi...staff is knowledgable about the area and accomodating to what you need. They have tea coffee and small breakfast in the morning. I was confused when I got there to check in because no one jumped up to help me and there was no reception.

I liked this place, although the staff did not always seem to be at the top of their game. The guy working at reception was sleeping, even though it was 1130 in the morning when I arrived. Good place, though. I'd stay again.

Excellent hostel. The staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The location is unbeatable and you feel at home right away. Planned to stay two nights, ended up staying six. This is a place where you can meet a diverse array of people and have a late night or have a good night's rest. Highly recommended.

Why Not? Is a great hostel. The house is very homey, complete with a fireplace, couches, and beanbag chairs. The owners are great hosts, very helpful, friendly, and also easy going and laid back. I would definitely recommend it, and will likely stay again next time I am in Tbilisi!

Clean and good located but a bit cold during winter. Ask staff for an additional blanket.

I had a wonderful time in Why Not? for a few days in January. The staff is super-friendly and ready to answer all your questions or help to organize whatever you may need so they made me feel at home from the first moment I stepped in the big common-room. Their relaxed interior design is also something worth seeing - just chill out in the couches downstairs with a nice glass of wine and enjoy the art around you (I especially love the mountain theme upstairs)! Hope to see you all again soon!
