Good hostel close to the center of Perth. Clean, lot of character, free internet, laundry and breakfast! Even got a free barbecue dinner! Only a couple of rooms so the hostel is very quiet. Only down sides were that there was a serious lack of brochures and maps of the city, and I thought the sheets on the bed were clean but maybe a bit old.

I only stayed here for a whopping 7 hours, but I still enjoyed my visit. The hostel is a normal house with nice big rooms and fortunately for me no stairs! The kitchen is gorgeous and very spacious. The free food is a very nice gesture and I love that they have free Wifi, a rare occurrence in Perth hostels. The house has a very relaxed and no worries atmosphere and it is easy to meet people. I regretted that I couldn't stay my last days there, I suggest to book early!

Lovely hostel tucked away in a quiet area, but still only a couple of minutes walk from the CBD, and Northbridge is only 20 minutes walk for bars and restaurants. Outside area is brilliant, free pool table, laundry facilities, excellent kitchens. So nice to stay in a hostel with a family feel. Only here for one night but will definitely be coming back, best hostel we've found in Perth yet (and we've stayed in our fair share!)

After reading the great reviews and based on the rating I chose this hostel. However, it wasn't that good. Prices for hostels in WA are in general high, but this one is overpriced. The included breakie is very basic (jam, dry bread and cornflakes), ants had taken over the kitchen bench, the owner wasn't there and no one really took over his duties. Hostels are for me a great source of information, but that was seriously lacking here. It s located at the fringe of the CBD in a quiet area.

Loved it here as there were no irish staying. So if your Irish go to billabong or somewhere else and keep this place a top hostel to stay in.

Wow, what a place, Charlie & Heidi certainly know how to keep their customers happy. The only reason I have scored the security low is because there is none as such but it is so small and everyone knows each other it becomes more like a family than a hostel. The food that these guys provide is above and beyond expectation, loads of cereals, breads, even free pies, pizza and cakes one night,They make a huge effort to make your stay comfortable, arranging nights out & wine tours. A top stay, Thanks

My favourite hostel in Australia, would recommend to anyone! Although a prizy, there's free wifi, free laundry (washing powder as well), free bread and veggies and fruit and all the basic kitchen food is free so you just have to buy meat! The hostel was really clean and the atmosphere of the place was great, perfect place for a lonely traveller :)

That was among the best hostel I ever visited. Clean, small, quite and with good facilities it was a pain for me leaving it. If you want to get out of the crowd of noisy traveller and you are looking for a quite but still dynamic place where to meet good people this is the place!

Best hostel I have been to. Owners were very friendly and the facilities were easily the best I have seen. I would recommend it for people who are after a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

This is by far the best hostel I stayed at and I'v been travelling A LOT the past 8 years. Truly great overall and I can't complain about anything. I think it's fantastic to see a small place like this, you get familiar with all of the people staying there, including the family that runs it and their kids. It feels like being home when you're away and i can't come up with anything that beats that. Wish I could have stayed another week but I hope to come back in the future!

We were welcomed as a couple with a toddler, which was fantastic, as there are many others who do not take children. A cute hostel with lots of love put into the decoration of the rooms. Unfortunately our room was stifling hot the night we stayed so we all had bad nights sleep... the mini fan on the wall didn't do the trick:( Thanks for the food andwarm welcome:)
