Nice hostel like all wild rovers, but I got a really bad mattress and if u are more than 1,6 m is impossible to take a shower.. they are so small..
10 bed dorm was very spacious and their promise of huge beds is true. showers werent really hot. it was lukuwarm at best
The rooms are a bit noisy during the night and the staff wasn't very helpful (except for the people at the bar at night, they're great!)
At first i thought it was strange to not have locks on the dorm room doors but, after seeing how entry works and the semi "checkpoints" you go through to get in. my mind was put to ease. Awesome hostel, great party on the weekends!
we came in low season so its hard to inagine what its like when full!! the bar got graduly quieter per evening... but was still a nice atmospher. pool area ok but food and wter massivly over priced!! 5minutes walk to market which is fantastic also 5 minutes to tge park only open weekends though!!!
Hostel was a great location, right by main square. Great place to meet other Backpackers. Is a party hostel but it's huge so if you want to escape the noise there's lots of places to go. No kitchen but cheap local food if you walk out of the tourist area. Wi-Fi is alright staff friendly. I had a great time wish I could have stayed longer
bar staff does not speak Spanish, and the pool is smaller in real life than it appears in the pictures, but great and central place to hang out with good bar
A friendly and nice place to stay in Arequipa - and to meet other travellers.
A bit quieter than the Wild Rover in La Paz but that can be a good thing. Same high quality of facilities and standards as the other Wild Rovers. Was exactly what we needed for a short stay in Arequipa. All the tour agencies and town centre are located within a short walk.
This hostel is an ideal place to meet people and NOT an ideal place to sleep/relax undisturbed. The bar is great and the food is so-so. I especially was impressed with the security (they don't let strangers inside the door after 8pm), and it was also very convenient for me to use their storage room during my trip to cañon del colca. Although I believe most hostels in Arequipa have storage facilities for this purpose
The staff here are great. I found my self head over heels in love with one lovely lady's named Tess she is so sweet her eyes remind me of the sun setting over the ocean. I was heart broken when I had to leave the hostel..
Staff were not welcoming and didn't get people involved. Doors weren't locked so anyone could come into dorm. No kitchen, poor breakfast. Couldn't check in until 1, despite there being 4 free beds in my dorm. Showers were freezing or burning hot. Dorms and toilets were filthy. Only 1 socket in 20 person dorm.
