Awful hostel except for cleanliness. Staff were incompetent with basic needs of guests. Loud throughout all hours of the night. Stayed in mixed dorm where drunk people constantly were dropping personal items from top bunk onto us. Drunk people crawling into our beds thinking it was theirs. Food was cold when served and took over an hour each time ordered to receive it. Lastly, tour company in hostel booked us a "safe, reliable bus company" to Uyuni. Broke down and left waiting 6hrs for new bus.

Great party place. Fantastic atmosphere. Lives up to its name 'Wild' rover! Lol

Good party hostel overall, great atmosphere at the bar. Wifi was good, better then Adventure Brewery hostel. Large lockers, few plugs. Would Not recommend booking Salt Flats tour through the on site tour company (Extreme Tours), was passed around from who they used, Unturunku, to Emeralda (I think) etc and for 900B it was rushed and not great, people who turned up to Uyuni without booking anything seemed to pay 700B for the same thing. Look elsewhere for Uyuni tours, check for good reviews.

Oh sweet sweet Wild Rover. I came for a day, but stayed for a week. It has an incredible party atmosphere. A shout out to Lui and Bridget, excellent staff members.

Me and a couple of my mates stayed here for 8 nights. World class time all thanks to Louis the Bar Manager who got everyone raring to go every night without fail. The hostel is cleaned throughout the day by the wonderful staff.

The hostel is amazing and the service as well! Meeting new people isn't a problem at all at wild rovers :) If you are not a party person then it's not the right hostel for you but if you are then you're gonna have a blast. The receptionist Marianna was very friendly and helpful, I liked her ther most. The rest of the staff is good as well. If you're in La Paz you have to check this place out! 😊

For 2 nights in a row, I had roommates puking on the beds next to me. On the last night, some guy crept into my bed and tried to be cheeky. Had to call security.

Arrived there at 6am from overnight bus from uyuni. I went to the bathroom & there was dirty, it got cleaned. But i showed that this is THE party hostel. Its absolutely massive (180+ beds) & the only place to stay in la paz. We met people from adventure brew & they said theirs was boring. Facilities were really good. Breakfast was great & they had a booking office for activities & busses inside which was really helpful. The breakfast starts after tours leave. So really b'fast is not included

Awesome hostel with alot of motivated people to party, hang out or do the death road. Only the wifi was often weak, probably due to the amount of people

Party party hostel! The bar becomes some sort of dark cave after 11pm. But beds and rooms are clean (maybe a little musty), and the bathroom was the cleanest and most modern facility I've ever come across. The hot shower was really good, but be sure to shower before 11pm when the heater turns off. Location can't be better.

A self contained town. Serious party hostel. No need to leave really as pub, food and travel agent all available. Excellent security and helpful staff. Avoid if you want a quiet night but if your looking for fun it's the spot.

Great party hostel, clean, great staff and fast internet

First the good: excellent staff and great facilities. Then the bad: this is a frat house. People on the reviews say it's a party hostel but - no - I've been to many party hostels and this is a frat house. I mean girls wearing little clothes, guys trying to score with anything that moves, people puking in the toilets, bad music playing until 3 am, the works.

One of the worst hostels to SLEEP in. A good place to get drunk and wasted but not a good place to sleep, meet other travelers, or relax. I was woken up many times at night by random people . I never had a good night sleep in my few days stay there. The hostel feels more like a bar than a hostel. Basic breakfast of break and jam everyday. Staff not very helpful or friendly, except one of the girls and the manager.

Great hostel with good atmosphere. Easy to meet new people. If you look for a quiet stay, go somewhere else. This is more like a party hostel. The only downside is that the hostel recommends bad clubs for going out. Maybe you should do your own research before you go out.

Awesome hostel! If you want a party hostel, this the model from which all others should learn from! Amazing staff, secure, clean facility, fab bar and bar staff! Special thanks to Felicia and Marianna for being particularly awesome and super patient reception girls!! :)

Stayed for three nights here and would definitely recommend. The hostel was always clean, beds are so comfortable and the showers are always hot! These things aside, the Wild Rover bar is a great place to meet fellow travellers, grab a tasty meal and a drink or two! Billy the bar manager was always super friendly and always keen to have a laugh, but super professional and helpful with local information and making sure everyone at Wild Rover was enjoying themselves. Absolute 10/10!
