Thanks guys for a fun few days. This hostel is pretty cool for a few days of entertainment - it is a bit of a party hostel but the layout makes it relatively easy to get away from the party if you want. Central location is great and the travel agent was great for organising activities. If im ever in Bolivia again ill be looking to stay here, and id recommend it to anyone visiting.

Wild Rover emailed me after I made my reservation. Their email contained this: "If you give us a rating that reinforces or improves our current position and a positive online comment, we are happy to provide you with a 50% discount of your first night’s accommodation on your next stay with us at any of our Wild Rover " Not cool. They are buying good reviews and I am disappointed that Hostelworld permits this.

Definitely a party hostel. If you want to drink and pary this is the place to go. If you want to relax or get any sleep however, go somewhere else. Clean, very friendly and knowledgable staff, and 24 hour security.

Great food at the bar. Crazy parties. The rooms are far enough away from the chaos that you can still have an early night if you want....but in La Paz, why would you?

Our only issue with this hostel was we were not given a key to our room. I booked a privet room for me and three mates but was told we could not have a key to lock our room. Ive stayed in many hostels all over the world and this was the first time i have not been able to lock my room, dorm or not. Other from this we all loved our stay here, it was a great hostel. Jack in the bar was a champ

The local staff at the reception are seriously awsome! The random travellers they hire as bar staff suck. The wifi was lame as, just as before. careful when booking through their tour desk- They sold me an overpriced ticket from La Paz to Arequipa. I paid 360 (std fare is 280) for a Cama flat bed the whole way through. But for the second part of the trip (Puno to Arequipa), I was put on a rickety local bus with no toilet and the windows dripped icy water on me for 7 hours. Hell.

What can I say, its a party hostel filled with mostly Aussies-Irish and English lads! Choose the 4 dorm room to get away from the bar, which might I add went off. WiFi sucked, up and down, mostly down. Might try Loki next time in La Paz...

Dark rooms. Perfect if you want fun, less if you need relax.

Certainly the wildest hostel I have ever been to, and at 61 I have been to a lot. One of the best hostels I have been to, the staff go that little bit extra to make your stay great.

Not for the faint hearted. They take their partying very seriously. Super fun, don't count on sleeping much! Great for solo travelers, I'm heading back in a few days! One Suggestion: When you're giving out free shots, the paper napkin is to be used to wipe the shot takers chin, not the bottle neck. Just sayin... ;)

This hostel is ok, pretty similar to other party hostels in South America. Although it is advertised as having a common room, there isn´t one. There is a courtyard but if it is rainy, there is nowhere to sit besides the bar (probably so it can make more money). And the bar is often too full, especially at night time because outside people are allowed in. Most of the people I hung out with felt the same way about this hostel. It is very clean but I wouldnt stay here again.

It does exactly what it says on the tin! Although I stayed at Christmas I got a great room that was just far enough away from the bar for when you're done partying. If you are looking to find something around town, don't rely on asking the staff too much...Diego was the only really helpful guy that I spoke to, but no-one else knows where to find street food. Would stay again

Difficult to recommend this hostel on the following aspects: Unclean rooms Dorm doors cant be locked - we had people busting in at all hours of the night Rooms were messy on arrival, despite being 5pm Hostel bar is open until 2am - you will likely feel everything that goes on there until this time

This is a party hostel . The bar is always busy and serves good food. Don't come here if you want a chill out place.

Definitely a party hostel. The bar scene was fabulous - high energy, lots of fun people. Very helpful front desk.

I always appreciate a nice comfy couch to lounge on. That was lacking at the hostel. It's a great hostel but the small things matter. It's too bad everything is outdoors except for the bar. It gets chilly at night! And too bad the kitchen closes at 9pm. But super comfy beds (proper mattresses!). Good food in the bar. And fabulous staff! Always very helpful. Security is good as they have a security guard at the front door to check credentials (wristband).
