Cleanest bathrooms in months! Great bar and atmosphere and appreciated our 4 bed dorm was in the quieter end of the hostel. Sketchy to walk around at night but that's pretty standard for La Paz.

Really great, lively hostel. The "party atmosphere" made a welcome change to the quiet guest houses we'd experienced in the majority of Colombia, Peru and other parts of Bolivia. Food was great, beds were super comfy, staff were awesome, beers are good value, showers were hot. Location is 20 mins walk from the bus terminal and 10 mins from the eating & shopping area. Only issue we had was a very drunk individual who entered our dorm at 3am. Life goes on! Really recommended!

Hands down one of the best hostels I have stayed at. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Theres a tour office on site to book tours through such as Death Road. Good wifi. This is a party hostel the bar goes off every night thanks to the boss Jack & his staff with drink specials & drinking games, bloody dice! the tab system although dangerous is awesome just pay for everything at the end. The place was always seemed to have people cleaning. The rooms at the back were quiet and beds comfy as.

Had an amazing 7 days in the wild rover. Didn't know anybody when we landed but jack, Alice and Sean in the bar made us feel really welcome and created the best atmosphere in a hostel I have ever been apart of. All the staff were great from reception to cleaners to bar staff. I will definitely be staying at this hostel again. If your after a quiet hostel this isn't the place for you but if you like to have a laugh and meet great people then this is the place for you

This place has a good vibe and it's fairly easy to meet people. About 90% Brits so if you're travelling to get away from the people you left, think again. The pub is great for a night or two but you'll get the regulars who never actually leave the hostel (why are you in La Paz?) The showers were good on the first day. Subsequent days they were luke-warm at best (and pooled the prior bather's hair and skin at your feet - good morning).

The securitygaurd didnt seem to check all bands. Also the toilet was clogged but was fixed quickly the showers could be warmer especially in the ones where you have to cross the courtyard. u

People we met there, were sort of posers and phoneys, obviously not everyone. People kind of just stayed in the hostel but seemed they never wanted to get to know Bolivian culture, or were just afraid. As a South American (colombian), I didn't care for this environment, where they see Southamerican culltures as minor cultures. People there just stayed at the Irish bar and got drunk, just like they never left home. Nevertheless, great facilities and excellent bathrooms. Not great breakfast.

WE LOVE WILD ROVER

Had so much fun here but it needs larger lockers, more places to charge your electronics and somewhere inside that isn't the bar where you can hangout.

I found the staff at this hostel kind of rude and short and unwilling to be helpful- I understand that this is a party hostel and they seem to get some semi-unreasonable guests on occasion, but the staff were very sassy with us when we very politely tried to resolve a situation with them.

Nice hostel, even if you're not up for a party you can sleep decently.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Staff are so helpful and speak really good English as well as Spanish. I've never been to a cleaner hostel. Toilets are cleaned multiple times a day. Food is great and the bar is good fun!

Wild Rover is bloody brilliant. Spent a 5+ nights here either side of a few tours, staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. Showers/toilets are kept clean at all times. Nightlife is extremely fun, one of the managers Diego was an absolute geezer and kept things lively, not a bad word to say about him or the hostel. CUP CUP CUP, TINY LITTLE CUP

Party hostel but is spotless clean, you can get sleep just use ear plugs if necessary. I had no issues during stay and I'm older and a party type. Lottery is room mates j was lucky that they were mainly quiet too.

Definitely a party hostel, but I never felt like it was too loud at all. It's a huge compound, and a bar and restaurant area away from most of the rooms keeps most of the noise there. Wifi was really good especially for the giant area it covers. Bathrooms and rooms seemed to be kept very clean. Overall a really good stay for La Paz.

Favourite hostel of South American trip so far. Friendly staff who speak English, cleanest bathroom facilities in any hostel I have visited, the bar is really fun in the evening and enables you to meet lots of other people, breakfast included is also good and runs till later than most hostel breakfasts.
