Perfect party hostel. Although, bar staff took a very long time to attend to customers. The food is a nice reminder of home (England/Ireland), though it too took a VERY long time to come - we waited an hour for a milkshake at one point. But, if you want a party hostel, the Wild Rover is basically the perfect place for you in La Paz.

WoW! So this is definitely the wildest of the 3 and definitely worth a look in for anyone who wants to have a bit of a party (you'd be a fool to stay here if you're just looking for a quiet night). As the others, this has got everything that a traveller could want at a hostel: great food, a great bar, great security, charging lockers, friendly, helpful staff, and every night a great party! Free drinks and t shirts for multiple stays at the different WRs too and who can argue against that!

It is a really big hostel, and it is a party hostel. The facilities are good, clean and nice dorms. The beds are amazing and the bathroom is clean compared to other Bolivian hostel. The thing is personally I do not like the big party party hostels, and this is definitely one. So that is why I did not enjoy my stay. Furthermore i had stomach flu, because I drank unboiled tea at breakfast... But the quality of bathrooms and dorms are good!

Most comfy beds, hot showers clean bathrooms . Daily events are a good variety and awesome fun . Travel agent and laundry service very convenient. Food is excellent just need to wait awhile. Smoke in bar killed me and drenched my hair and clothes in nicotine. Also not having a printout of bill frustrating as I would have liked to check I was correctly charged. There is a movie room which could be cozier but having an area for the after party crew to avoid echoing in terrace for sleepers perfect

People were great, parties were awesome, beds super comfy, even tho it was a party hostelthe rooms were quiet to sleep early when I needed to. They even have a sweet girls only room with full lengthmirrors and hairdryers. Would stay here again for sure

We arrived at 7am and were not able to check in until 2pm, after check-in we were shown to our room, which was filthy and the beds had not been changed. We had to request for the beds to be changed 3 times, eventually the girl from reception had to change them herself. On our last night, we had an early morning bus and were woken several times by people running around the hostel. A girl opposite our room did confront them but they shouted her down and even started kicking doors and walls. .

Too crowded and imperonal for my personal taste. But well organized, clean, and perfect for those who love after-hours. Besides, the kitchen run by Julio has a very good menu!

This is a good party hostel, dont expect much sleep before 2am. Even after this there are residents and non residents roaming the halls making noise with no security telling them to be more quite. There is a security guard on the main door and all residents get wrist bands, however once past this security guard the only thing stopping non residents walking into your room is a sign saying no entry. Use the lockers provided at all times and you should have a fun and safe stay

Great hostel and great location in La Paz. The hostel is clean throughout with a great bar and very good, competitively priced food. The beds are almost like double beds and extremely comfy and the rooms are cleaned daily. This is a party hostel with so much always going on and my only negative is with a party hostel you get the good with the bad in that as a couple in a 4 bed dorm we were forced to leave the room each night as people brought "guests" back to their rooms!!!

Fun fun fun! Party hostel but these guys also run a tight ship, when the bar closes at 2pm they kick you out to a club (rightly so) so if you do want to sleep you will have no problem. Food is DELICIOUS! Really nice sunny terraces to chill out in outside. Great place to meet people! Winner!

SO MUCH FUN! had the best time here. I had to stay in la Paz for a week so only booked four nights here at first. I ended up staying the whole week. The bathrooms are cleaned and checked every hour and the cleaning staff are great. Rooms are cleaned every day (floors, bins etc) and the bar serves great food. Def great place to stay to meet people if you are travelling alone.

Really cool hostel!! Definitely the cleanest one you can get in La Paz! The beds are also really comfortable and a guard guarantees a high safety. Location is perfect, just a few meters away from the Plaza Murillo. All in all the staff is really professional and the hostel offers everything you need. Only breakfast could include a bit more. You shoud be aware that its an Irish hostel, so if you wanna have Bolivian culture take another hostel! Also be aware of the fact that its a party hostel!

Despite being a great place to meet people and go out, Wild Rover is actually an amazing hostel...best bed I've had so far in South America, super clean, loads of good chill out places, great bar, and amazing food from the restaurant. Definitively lived up to the hype!
