Lovely, small green garden in a big african city, we always felt safe and welcome there.

Quiet and relaxing! It wasn't the most social place I've stayed in, but it was a nice home away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi.

There was one staff member who was quite rude. I booked the buffet dinner but was not told that it was cancelled. I was still charged for the buffet, despite just being given a plate of food that I could have just ordered off the a la carte menu for a much cheaper price. My tent was run down and needed some maintenance work. This was disappointing as i was paying for a luxury tent, a significant expense for me because i wanted a few nights in relative luxury. Guests were very nice.

The setting is fantastic. The place offered great value for money. The buffer dinner could have been a little more generous. We paid for two adults and one child and only managed to get one plate of food. The showers could be a little hotter. The giftware was great. I am looking forward to staying a little longer next time.

For sure Nairobis best! Wildebeeset is a great place to stay! Cheap, clean and simple in a good way! A beautiful garden, very friendly staff, lot's og useful information and help to organize trips, safaries and just local transport. very nice food to reasonable prices between 7 am and midnigth (!) - breakfast included in the price. Soon a new camp will be opened with same owners - a nice Australian couple.

Nice place to stay for a first time in Nairobi. The camp is a big house (like manor) with large gardens where they have tents and space to relax. I stayed the first night in a "budget room", the only inconveniance is that the toilet is on the other side of the garden, so its complicated to go in the middle of the night. Then extended and moved to the "Dorm" as it was cheaper and has a bathroom/shower inside. Breakfast is great and during daytime you can walk to downtown Nairobi, felt very safe.

great atmosphere. average prices, but value for money if you want a secure place to feel great in Nairobi. The garden is great, bring your own tent if you like (this applies for many cities in East Africa, it is easier to bring your own tent than you might expect), the food is above average, both in quality and price

It was a very nice and safe place to be at. It is in the middle of the city but most things people do are volunteering outside and going on safari. The premises was beautiful and it's just a very nice place to relax! Everyone is very friendly! The tents were really nice. The budget rooms were not as pretty but it was totally fine. We all shared the same bathroom though.

we stayed here twice (nearly a week in total) and it was great, thoroughly enjoyed it and the gardens especially.

Very happy with our stay here and would recommend to other people. The gardens are beautiful and you can quite easily spend the whole day here if you wanted. The food and drink is good and reasonably priced (800 Kes for dinner buffet, about £5.50) 1 negative tho is that late check-out is charged at 75% of your room rate for just an additional 6 hours.

Very accommodating of requests, very clean and neat atmosphere. Could stand to have more than 1 front desk worker on duty.

brilliant place to stay in nairobi, all the taxis seem to know it so even if its not in the centre of town, its never a problem getting there. we stayed in the ensuite deluxe tents which are lush, totally recommend those tents, beds super comfy and ensuite spotless. the guys here are good at organising game drives and safaris. we did the nairobi national park whilst there and had a great time and saw loads. the kibera walk into the slums was really interesting and worthwhile. quiet at night also
