The hostel conditions are very bad even staying in the main room of the hostel. The particular bathroom of the main room wasn't clean enough to receive guests. There's only one computer and the conection is terrible. You won't be able to have a hostel atmosphere. The location is very good considering that's near from the bus stop to Machu Picchu and the restaurants. Also it was safety to leave our bags in the reception while we went to walk on Aguas Calientes.

The front desk was manned by a young man who did not speak English but wasn't very interested in talking to us in Spanish either, given that we spoke either language. They only accepted cash which was fine, but they wanted only exact change, which was annoying given that for whatever reason it was S/. 63.80. The facility had about two minutes of hot water. We paid a cafe with lockers to store our bags while we went to Machu Picchu because we didn't trust the staff to keep our things safe.
