I consider it as one of the finest places I have ever stayed. It is fairly cheap and it is actually a real hotel instead of a hostel. The neighborhood is awesome to young people because there are lots of students nightclubs and bars around. Its far from the center of the city though, fortunately there is several buses passing all the time.

Was absolutely what we needed. Not too far from centre, quick taxi ride or bus. We were able to be ourselves and not get any complaints. Staff were really helpful, even at 4am!

The shower was not working properly but, besides that, everything was alright. Friendly staff, clean and a great value for money. It is not downtown but there are a lot of buses going often towards Piccadilly..

£40 internet sourced rooms are priced like that for a reason. Whilst the hotel is generally excellent - v.friendly staff, great breakfast, secure parking, handy location - our room was in the attic with peeling wall paper, poor water pressure and a feeling of being long overdue for an overhaul. That said, the beds were very comfortable, linen clean and everything worked. Would highly recommend this hotel and would visit again. Would pay a little more and get a better room next time...

My room was very much in need of refurbishment ! I was only there one night so I did not make any complaints at the time . I seemed to be in between a children's group there rooms were all around mine ,it was noisy till late and very early the next morning . I thought the staff should have realised this before putting me in that room , Were all the rooms taken ? I dont think so . Over all not what I expect from a Best Western Hotel ,

Above average hotel, probably won't dissappoint you if you're staying for a night, a weekend or a few days. Everything was clean and the staff were very nice. There were a couple of noisy tour groups throughout the hotel but I couldn't hear them once I was in my room.

Good value for money 3 night stay. Room (23) ok for single room stay with en suite bathroom off bedroom spacious. Only gripe was the shower which did not proceed beyond a trickle. Hotel is good for student quarter and frequent bus service to Manchester city centre and also to Manchester Airport. Hotel has good little bar and friends staying availed of the voucher offer whereby if breakfast purchased vouchers for 3 pints of beer from hotel bar received. Overall good value and would stay again.

Nice hotel but the rooms are a bit dated and could do with a facelift. Fab breakfast and good deal where if you order breakfast you get 3 vouchers for free drinks at the bar.

Our stay was quite good. We had a trouble with the hotel because we didn´t understood that we couldn´t smoke using the window that we had in our room so we had to pay an extra 100 pounds when we left the hotel. Take care when u smoke in Manchester! But except that, all was perfect
