Very nice hostel - great location - friendly fun staff and fantastic atmosphere. One of the cleanest hostels I have seen. Common room really cosy and kitchen well equipped.Very nice hostel - great location - friendly fun staff and fantastic atmosphere. One of the cleanest hostels I have seen. the staff was unimpressive and there is a dog wandering around, so if you are allergic, you are now warned.the staff was unimpressive and there is a dog wandering around, so if you are allergic, you are now warned....Close

Great location, which is the only good thing about this hostel. It was filthy, the pillow cases were not cleaned, the bag-style sheets were too small to cover the disgusting mattresses. Some of the staff are extremely sketchy and made the girls in our group feel unsafe staying there. When we tried to check out at 10am, nobody was at the front desk and we had to wait around and missed our train. By far the worst hostel I've stayed in. Great hostel, The staff were cool and relaxed. Huge movie collection, right in the middle of the centre, and cheap. The only thing is that I got eaten up by mosquitoes or bedbugs or something during my stay. They had a weird linen/sheet system. Except for that, kudos to the hostel!Great hostel, The staff were cool and relaxed. Huge movie collection, right in the middle of the centre, and cheap. Very cute hostel. They seemed to be having problems when I stayed, with keeping staff - there was a sign up saying you could trade accomidation for helping clean. The dishes were never done the entire time I was there, but really, I blame other guests. Pitch in and help, guys! Movie and video game selection was excellent, and the location was prime for visiting olde towne and the castle. You need to drive or take a bus to the Wallace monument, unless you\'re a serious backpacker who wants to wal...MoreVery cute hostel. A soiled mattress in my room was almost overwhelming. Other than that, great location and great people with the best movie range i have seen (good for when you're a tad sickly, as i was).A soiled mattress in my room was almost overwhelming. not far away from the train station. there isn\'t going on much apart from Stirling Castle. but there\'s a cinema for bad weather. the hostel was pretty ugly and mangy, and I\'m not very picky. we slept in a bedsheet that was sewed together like a sack or a very thin sleeping back. so you actually had to lie on that ugly matress. plus, there was a comforter-like blanket that had something really ugly, indefinable in it. don\'t go therenot far away from the train station. there isn\'t going on much apart from Stirling Castle. but there\'s a cinema for bad weather. the hostel was pretty ugly and mangy, and I\'m not very picky. we slept in a bedsheet that was sewed together like a sack or a very thin sleeping back. so you actually had to lie on that ugly matress. plus, there was a comforter-like blanket that had something really ugly, indefinable in it. don\'t go there...Close

Pretty par, as hostels go. The staff were hilarious, and helpful. The security on the doors can be worked with, as can the overall cleanliness of the place.Pretty par, as hostels go.
