as expected from halls of residence it was a 5 minute drive from the town but adequate for a stopover

I've stayed here twice before and like the atmosphere and privacy. Bedding and towels were clean and fresh. The cleaning lady was very helpful and pleasant. But I was disappointed to discover that breakfast was no longer included in the basic price. Also, the building needs maintenance: peeling paint, large holes in the bathroom walls and worn/stained carpets and chairs. I expected better based on previous visits. This is why I gave a poor rating on the cleanliness.

I'm not sure how to rate 'fun' - I wasn't looking for fun. There weren't many people there. The individual rooms are nice for security, and it was wonderfully quiet.
