Nice hotel, nice staff and nice location. The surroundings were very nice. Rather close to the center and the subway was close. Downstairs the rooms don't have much natural light, can't say about the other rooms. Breakfast was nothing special (muffins, toast and doughnuts, coffee and tea). Would stay again.

Took a while to find our booking and then I am sure we got a different room to what we had booked but the price was the same so we didn't mind. Location was good it was close to the train line which meant we didn't have to walk everywhere, also close to U street which had lots of good places to eat. Room was comfortable and breakfast was provided in the mornings. The staff were also willing to help us out anytime. I would stay here again.

We stayed only for two days but the experience was worth the money. The neighborhood is very quiet, you should go two streets up to find restaurants and bars, but is 5-10 min walk to the nearest metro station. Clean and kind staff, and Mimi, the cat, so cute!!

Everything was perfect! The room was small but very clean and cozy. The neighborhood was safe and convenient, the people were exceptionally friendly, the breakfast was just what you needed to start your day, and the overall value of the hotel for what you pay is phenonmenal. I had a wonderful time in dc thanks to the Windsor :)

The hotel is cosy and comfortable. Location is not bad, with buses stopping outside and metro stations a 10-min walk away. Free breakfast is simple but good enough. (If still hungry, there's a grocer opposite.) The downside of the hotel is a lack of ramps and elevators. Not good if carrying heavy luggage.

My friend and I had a really good time here. Perhaps you may consider having more hot breakfast stuff e.g. eggs, sausage and bacon but otherwise I had a great time.
