We were really disappointed with the hotel's cleanliness. The carpet floors were all over dirty, the room and bathroom was full with spider's webs, the windows old and mouldy, the furniture dusty. The hotel has a stuffy, old smell. We only used the included breakfast once, because there was very poor offer, cutlery and dihes were covered in leftovers of food, the butter tasted old and rancid, tables and chairs were dirty. The free wifi didn't reach up to our room and was very unstable.

Jessica (employee) was extremely helpful and nice but the place needs a LOT of work. The internet didn't work at all, not even in the bar and there are NO laundry facilities there, as was advertised. The parking situation is awful....as in virtually no parking except on the street or in a garage for huge fees. The shower had poor water pressure, the room had water stains on the ceiling and you could see the outside hall thru the cracks in the door frame. I would not stay or recommend it again

This place is located close to the train station in Cork right above a bar, but is not loud. The value for the money was good. The rooms are kind of old but I believe the beds were clean. The appliances were older and the TV only had 2 channels. One would change if they changed it downstairs (so you're half way watching something and it suddenly changes). The razor outlet was hard to get to work. Breakfast is great and definitely a deal. I would definitely recommend this place.
