If you want help booking anything this is the place. The owner is so friendly and helpful. The river cruise that you can book from here is amazing. There are not too many people so it feels like less of a tour. The place is full of good people and air-con.

The manager was extremely helpful throughout my stay, and even went so far as to be my chauffeur for a day trip out to Sepilok Orang Utan santuary and the Proboscis monkey centre - my sincere thanks for all your help!

One of the best hostels stayed at during two months in SE Asia. Owner/manager very helpful. Even the daily power outage wasn't really a pain. Did two day tour to Kinbatangan river -- worth it for the food alone! Recommended

There aren\'t really a whole lot of other choices in Sandakan but this one is pretty good for the price. Double room was spacious with comfy bed and clean bathroom. Sheets could\'ve been cleaner but whatever. The owner is really helpful, they have tours but he only mentions them if you ask. He is really knowledgeable about buses etc. Other staff were a little indifferent, deal with the owner where possible. Breakfast is average, free wifi definitely sweetens the deal. Would definitely stay again...More

Fantastic staff, always willing to go out of their way to help. Rooms a bit rough around the edges but can't really complain for the price. A good place.

With A/C attached bathroom and a TV the standard is good for a very reasonable price. Definitely one of the better budget options in town.
