Perfect location, just some metres from the S-Bahn station Königstrasse, and only 10 minutes walk from Reeperbahn. Clean, nice showers. Friendly staff. Just annoying fees: if you come later than 10 p.m. you will have to pay 5 euros per additional hour. And 3 % on the amount if you pay by credit card. And sheets cost extra. Ridiculous.

Staff unfriendly and amateur. Don't be surprised to have to pay extra for sheets (completely worn out, including holes etc.). Locker still had some previous person's stuff (including food!) in it. Convenient location though.

It was very good, and cheap for being Hamburg. But they add 5€for every hour after closing time (22.00) if you arrive late, which they dont inform about before booking the nights.

This was a good stay. The hostel is located in a quiet backstreet, although it is just a couple of minutes walk to one of Hamburg´s wildest streets. Everything was very clean and the water was hot

Good relation to the price. Maybe a little bit hard to find but the rest was ok.

We really enjoyed our stay here, really cosy clean hostel to chill out in, met lots of great people and the blonde girl at the front desk was really helpful, marked everything on the map for us and was always nice I would definitely stay here again :)

Not really what I would call a hostel, just rooms with beds and two bathrooms. The 9-bed dorm was so crammed with beds that there was no significant space on the floor to put bags, which backpackers tend to have. The common area is undecorated and only has a few chairs and tables. The guy at the reception was friendly, but everything seemed disorganized. The location however is good, close to the Fish Market and the subway just acress the street.

Comfortable bed, good lockers and excellent staff and located right opposite the Koenigstrasse S-Bahn station. The only thing which was really lacking was a breakfast facility

Best hostel shower ever and couldn't be closer to the train station, although there's nothing else at that stop. Lockers ARE small, but included.

I would only go there, if I had no other option. The whole hostel is in the cellar of a cold building. I wouldn't recommend it. The one good thing is the location.

Pretty expensive for the quality of the hostel, not really a social hostel. Good for a place to sleep then to move on

The shower arrangements left a lot to be desired. Two glazed cubicles in two rooms with only one of the rooms being locked easily. This meant that two showers were being tied up when only one person was occupying them room. Also only two wash hand basins. A reasonably full hostel and the cleaner had the cheek to admonish me for cleaning my teeth in the sink. A few more facilities and I wouldn't have had to.

Arrived after 10 pm meaning no one was available to check us in. Ended up sleeping rough and charged full price for the the stay, shocking in comparison to every hostel i've ever stayed at.

If you're looking to hang out a lot in the hostel and doing a lot of partying there, this place isn't really for you. If you're looking for a clean place to sleep, shower, and stow your stuff while you're out enjoying the city, this place is fine.
