There were cockroaches in the room and the staff did not speak English so there was confusion on checkout time and I am currently dealing with a mysterious additional charge.

The room was not very clean and didnt feel safe. It had a syringe located ontop of the door in the bathroom. The toilet took a long time to refill which meant you could only use the flush once an hour. The door looked like it had been kicked in and very poorly fixed. The location is very dodgy. This part of SW 8th st is not safe at all and we didnt feel comfortable being outside at night. From downtown a taxi cost $25 and if you were to catch a bus to downtown it would take an hour.
