Clean room but the bed too small for my big body. Location very good, near MRT station and bus stop, veri recommended to backpaker.

Unique room with complete facilities. I think the share bathroom need add more quantity and bigger. And it should be cleaned up every time as it is always wet

clean but socialising area is small and the constant beeping noise at reception was annoying after a while. Love the 24hour breakfast! Limited showers/toilets (3 on my floor) for over 30people can be frustrating.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Nice upstairs room but the capsule was a bit stuffy and had the emergency light opposite so despite blind it was too bright and hard to sleep.

once I arrived the receptionist was just doing his work....! no explanation at all and after a small misunderstanding I got my capsule after one hour. the capsule is nice to have a bit more privacy. Breakfast was simple: plain cornflakes, toast with butter and jam, milk, coffee, tea, hot and cold water dispenser but all day long :) wifi available in a good quality everywhere. Shower and toilet were nice. It's very central close to Chinatown and just 5min Walk to nightlive area and MRT station

Beware of the "single room", all the rooms are capsule in the dormitory, so all you have is a locker to protect your bags and your privacy. No "closed" room. Please indicate it when booking. Otherwise it was a good place.

great new idea!No metal bunk beds = no noisy creaking/squeaking when you climb.Capsule = less noisy snoring from other bunk/room mates.Individual bunk lighting = no spillover glare from laptops/night readers.Contained sleep quarters = no embarassing ratty underwear sightings.A good feature is the roof deck---quiet place to relax, see the lightbeams from the MarinaSands show & have a nightcap before retiring. The H2O hoses in the toilets had a bad leak when I was there (I hope they fix it). =)

If you value your privacy, this hostel is great. If you get a capsule away from the main window, it can get very dark but if you don't get disturbed with that, it is not a huge deal. The bathroom facilities are very good and generally clean. They have an all-female floor which I think a huge plus. Only their lockers are a little tiny so if you have a large suitcase, it may not fit. Overall, one of the most amazing hostels I stayed in. The capsule is very well equipped and the location is great.

Seemed to be a hostel used by business users than backpackers. In addition checkout is 12pm; but you have the cleaners coming in at 9/10am either cleaning the pods of those that have already left or saying to those that haven't checked out (and sometimes waking them up) that they need to check out at 12pm. We know - we're not daft.

The location was great and the capsules were clean and nice. The staff wasn't really knowledgeable about some things that I feel are basic info about Singapore. Overall, I would stay here again.

I misunderstood "capsule private" and thought I got a private room, but I did own "cave" in a "hollow village". At first I was a little skeptical, but I discovered after a while that this is the best way to get in touch with the nice people from all over the world.

I was positively suprised how well i slept at the capsule. It was big enaugh and even though my fan was kinda broken (it worked, but made really anoing noise) the air condition was enaugh to keep me cool all night :) very clean and nice place. Only minus is that there is no air condition at the shower-toilet area (actually not even a glass at the window) so after getting out of the shower, because of the warmness and humanity, i was quite ready to get back in again. Otherwise, great place!

Cheap good value for money place to stay with great facilities, but I wouldn't do more than an overnighter. The girl on the desk when I arrived was unfriendly and frankly unhelpful. The rooms are very noisy and there is not really enough storage space, I had a bunch of Germans in mine who pretty much took it over and had no problem leaving all thier stuff in everyone else's way. Next time I would pay the extra and stay somewhere else, if you do decide to give it a go, bring your ear plugs !!

Great location. Separate showers and toilets. Good Wifi in every floor. Quiet comfy capsules. Clean. Always on Airconditioning and fresh feeling. To the Hostel I would recommend they improve the common room with dvds and two more computers. All this hostel lacks is a communal feeling where travellers can meet and become friends. But otherwise great hostel and value for money!

This hostel was very clean and the bed was heaps comfortable, plus I had no issue with the locker or the temperature in the room. The staff let me keep my suitcase in the front room after I checked out all day so I could run around town and were very friendly. The bathrooms/toilets are very small and not easily accessed. 9/10

I stayed here for one night only on a Singapore stopover. It was pretty basic, a glorified dorm with bamboo screens between the cubicles. Unfortunately these did not block out the light or the noise of other people arriving, which continued until about 2 a.m. The shared bathrooms were not really sufficient for the number of people, and not very clean.

The staff lost my reservation, put me in a female dorm the first night, didn't give me the elevator key card until I asked for one on my second day (I didn't even know they existed until a fellow guest with one.) Upper capsules are a bit difficult to get into if you're an old guy like me. I'd be shocked if there's ever a 2nd "capsule hostel" in Singapore. Coming back to SG in September, but not to this hostel.
