Wombats City Hostel Berlin Reviews

I had an overall great experience at this hostel! I was a solo traveler so it was a bit intimidating not knowing anyone, but the Wombar upstairs made it pretty easy to meet people. Its great for young people who like to party and have a good time. I even met up with my roommates from the hostel in another city which was really great.

VERY NICE HOSTEL. Without a doubt the best hostel I have ever been to.

The hostel just have to work out the internet. It doesn't work very well and the hole time we lost connection. But, this is the only negative thing, everything else was perfect.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. There were stains on my pillow before putting a cover on, but at least the cover was freshly cleaned. Unlike the Wombats in Vienna (Naschmarkt), which was one of my favorite hostel stays, the facilities and amenities in Berlin weren't that great. The wifi, only in common areas, rarely worked. When it did work, it took five minutes to load a page. The guest kitchen gets locked quite early as well. I didn't go, but people seemed to enjoy the Wombar.

wifi in the rooms would be nice. the double room we had was very small. the roof bar needs some noise protection.

Both me and the girlfriend had a awesome time there!

it is clean and the security is perfect. it is really good to use "card key" for room and private locker. room is pretty and toilet is clean. Im satisfied.

I would recommend this hostel to anyone going to Berlin! Awesome staff, wonderful happy hour, and cheap breakfast!!

From my point of view this is the place to stay if you are in Berlin. A bar with a teracce on the 7th floor. The rooms are clean and tidy, you can meet a lot of great people in the bar or in the common room beside the reception. The only downside is the distance by foot from the haupbahnhof. This is about 3.5 km. But its really near to the U-Bahn. I would definitely book this hostel again.

This place was awesome! Very clean with very nice facilities. The bar on the roof is super cool. The only downside was the distance between good night life and where the hostel was located.

Wombat's staff are really helpful, the rooftop bar is cool and the rooms are nice - big lockers and nice showers/bathroom. The atmosphere here is great and it is easy to meet people.

Too much noise because of the young people living by night, doors, shouts, etc...

If you're travelling alone it's the perfect place! Amazing staff and great breakfast for a good value. Close to nice bars restaurants and transportation! The best hostel in Berlin!

Really great hostel, I was travelling alone and felt safe and also had a great time. There was a very clean bathroom in my room, shower worked etc. It was also quite a friendly hostel for a solo traveller, it was easy to find friends. The "Wombar" is also great and drinks are pretty cheap, also a great view from up there. I would highly recommend the hostel for a great time in Berlin.

I love Wombat's! Everytime I stay at one of their hostels I am never disappointed. They are very clean, friendly, and reasonably priced. The breakfast that isn't included is an excellent value for 3.80

Location is good, near the metro but a little out of the main town, takes 2 stops to get there. Right opposite a great Augustiner brewery. Rooms were clean. Has bar but we didn't really use it. Staff were excellent.
