Wombats City Hostel Berlin Reviews

Nice hostel to stay in Berlin! very near to the center and touristic places... very good cheap food near and IN the hostel restaurant! and of course, the classic Wombat's Breakfast for 3,80 euros. The rooms are big and nice cleaned! the upstairs Bar it's very cool, and the free welcome beer it's a touch!! Liked A LOT the Wombat's chain of Hostels!!! Peace..

Great hostel, fantastic staff and amazing clean rooms

only Wifi..

-Very clean (staff constantly tidying up) -Very secure (keycard access to floor, room, locker) -Good location (near U-Bahn and tram) -Kitchen is small and gets busy, but has everything needed -WiFi in the main common area is pretty much useless in the evenings. Very difficult to connect to, constantly dropping signals and is very slow. Forget the WiFi in the bar and invest in a proper commercial grade wireless router, not some basic off-the-shelf unit meant for home use.

Great Hostel, clean and in a good location. Everything great but the Wifi which is a bit slow. Anyway it isn't a big deal if you spend most of the time visiting the city like I did. Really recommended.

Amazing Hostel!! Everything was great! The bar is just awesome, you can meet a lot of nice, young people from all over the world! (and they have two happy hours!)

The hostel is nice, but sometimes the guests are not so polite...

There are a big lobby, a kitchen, a restaurant, and a bar in the hostel. The staff are nice and room is clean. Wifi is good in the lobby, bar, and kitchen, but no signal in the room. Subway is very close to the hostel. Location is very good.

Great place to stay!! It was so good we decided to stay at Viena's Wombats as well. We only had a little problem with the dryer machine, but the receptionist gave us our money back. I would totally stay there again :)

The hostel was brilliant. James ode did a particularly good job with cleaning. Always spotless

Everything was excellent. But it would be better if there were some small bars of soap and some shampoo in the bathroom. Also wifi in the rooms would be a nice idea.

Good accommodation, however no wifi in bedrooms which is very annoying. Everyone was crowded down in the lobby to use the internet.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and a clean and comfortable nights stay.

Grumpy bar staff who closed the bar early on Friday is the only moan I have about my stay. Otherwise, it was brilliant!

What a brillant hostel. Great value. Stayed in the 6 bed mixed dorm. Very clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The rception staff were welcoming and friendly. Free Wi Fi in the reception and the bar had good deals at happy hour. Great location. One of the best hostels I have stayed at in ages. Thankyou Wombats

Very good hostel with everything you need. Only negative point is that there is no wifi in the rooms.

Everything was perfect!

Lovely location, clean & friendly. Staff were really cool, Louis the bartender was epic; he really knew how to show us a good time with some really cool places in Berlin. Merci ;)
