Great location and value. We loved our private room and balcony. Wom-bar was fun with a friendly atmosphere and lovely cheap beer. Helpful staff.

We had a nice stay. The staff was helpful and friendly, our room was fine and bathroom clean. The bar on the 7th floor had a nice feel, though the music was very loud for any type of conversation. It did have a roofdeck which was lovely to go out on. Breakfast buffet was good and worth the 3.70 for it.

Loved that the rooms had everything you need - lockers, individual lights, etc.

Great hostel! But, given the popularity, more space needed in the storage room.

Some problems with wi-fi in evening time and wi-fi is only in lobby and in bar. That's the only sad thing about that hostel.

Cleanest hostel in which I've ever been! Staff was very friendly and the dorms is very big.

This was the best bed I have ever slept in (double room)!

I've stayed at several hostels throughout my trip, but this was best by far. For merely 12 euros, you got a clean and comfortable bed with lockers that lock with your door key. The bathroom was well kept, and the bar upstairs was very reasonably priced. It was also close to many restaurants. I would recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Berlin.

Great experience overall. Facilities were clean, staff was friendly, and location was excellent. I would absolutely recommend wombats to any traveler!

I guess the main problem is the internet connexion, not because there were no wifi in the rooms, because the space on the hall was really cold, uncomfortable and impersonal. You have a lot of space there to improve it, more sofas, some walls to give a little bit of privacy (skype there when everybody is going partying or preparing their tripo is almost impossible). Also the lockers... were old and some didn't locked properly.

Best hostel to stay in Berlin!

Stayed in a private room which was very nice, like a hotel. Very clean and all the private rooms have balconies. Good location right by the Rosa Luxemburgh metro station and walking distance to most places. All in all very happy with and would recommend this to others.

I can recommend Wombats in Berlin, the hostel offers great value for little money (we payed 12EUR/night in a 6-bed-female-dorm, free WIFI, free bedsheets). The hostel is centrally located, in walking distance to the main tourist attractions (Alexanderplatz, Unter den Linden, Museum-Island, Brandenburger Tor..), the staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms are spacious, the beds and bedsheets are clean and there is even a nice rooftop-terrace. Definitely recommendable.

Wombats is a very nice hostel, very well located near Alexander Platz. The area has many bars, clubs and restaurants and all other things are quickly reached by the U-bahn. The atmosphere is also very good : there are a bar on the last floor and a roof top terrasse that are always busy at night. Good place to meet new people from all over the world!

The hostel had great facilities and was very clean. Not too far from the main attractions, although as Berlin is so big and they are so spread out some obviously were further than others. However being a big chain hostel it didn't have the same atmosphere that some of the smaller hostels I have stayed in did.

Excellent Hostel would definitely stay again

It has a free kitchen, a bar on the roof. Location is great, 1 min from ubahn station, near the east center of Berlin. Safe neighborhood, good price. Everything was perfect except NO wifi in the rooms!

I would recommend this hostel to everyone! I had such a good time here. My room was really clean and really great and I met some wonderful people. The roof bar was also a ton of fun so much that we all went up there both nights we were there! This was by far the best hostel that I have been to in Europe.
